Sehr gepflegte saubere exquisite Zimmer. Wunderschöne Hotel- bzw Schlossanlage. Parkmöglichkeit 👍🏻 top! Traumfrühstück. Sehr hilfsbereites und freundliches Perdonal!

Pros:

Setting. Seclusion. Clean. Peace. Grand buildings. History.

Cons:

Whole place is weird. No one else there except for 2 or 3 staff. Dated feel and drab decor. Overpriced. Rubbish wifi. Not a hotel, maybe ok for other running events.

Nice property, but very disappointing and poorly handled experience
Pros:

The hotel itself is nice, clean and visually appealing, and the spa area is actually very well designed. However, the overall experience was far from what we expected.

Cons:

We chose this hotel mainly because of the spa, but only upon arrival we were informed that the spa is not included in the price and requires an extra fee per person. This was not clearly communicated on Booking and felt misleading.

Although the spa looks nice, the experience was surprisingly poor – no drinking water available, no glasses, and lockers requiring coins. At one point, there was no access to water at all, and I literally had to drink water from my hands in the restroom, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel at this price level.

During the stay, I also felt unwell after the food, which further worsened the overall impression.

The hotel felt very empty and overall seemed more suited for private events rather than individual guests, which may explain the lack of attention to standard guest experience.

On a positive note, the waitress in the restaurant was excellent – kind and professional.

Unfortunately, the experience with the reception and management was the opposite. The receptionist was rude and even told me that I “don’t know how to read”, despite the fact that they were never able to clearly show that the spa fee was stated on Booking. The communication was inconsistent, unhelpful and the situation took a long time to resolve. At the end they did not charge us but we were told by the manager that he need to pay for OUR spa by himself so he will give me his money to my bank account or cash - which is absolute no go when it comes to professional communication with customer.

Overall, despite the nice design, the stay did not meet expectations at all and the service level needs serious improvement.

Definitely not worth the money. It does not have an ambiance of a Schlosshotel.
Cons:

The most parts of the buildings are empty or are not heated at this time of the year. Therefore you have the feeling that you are in an almost uninhabited hotel in the middle of nowhere.
We reserved a table for dinner at 7 p.m. but we were later asked to change our reservation to 6 p.m., because the stuff wanted to go home.
