Pros:

Lo staff gentilissimo, la mail con i dettagli per il check in era molto dettagliata e accogliente, ci hanno anche offerto l'utilizzo della sauna e della jacuzzi, ma non abbiamo potuto usufruirne per via della pioggia.
Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo, considerando che è inclusa anche la colazione (cosa non comune in Islanda).
Avevamo prenotato una stanza vista montagna, ma ci hanno comunque sistemato in una stanza vista mare, molto pulita e funzionale ancje se non grandissima.

Top Hotel!! Jederzeit gerne wieder!!
Pros:

Bequemer Self Check-in, sehr schöne Zimmer mit Blick zum Fjord, reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet (u.a. köstliche Waffeln), eigene Dusche u. WC, höchst freundliche Gastfamilie, kurzum das beste Hotel in der mittleren Preisklasse auf unserer Island-Reise!!
Bonus: aufgrund der Lage gibt es in Patreksfjördur nahezu täglich schöne Sonnenuntergänge zu sehen!!

camera un po ' piccola ma accettabile per trascorrerci una sola notte. Posizione fantastica : la ns finestra si affacciava direttamente sul fiordo!!! Parcheggio disponibile davanti l'hotel. Buona la colazione : ci hanno addirittura servito un buon cappuccino

Cons:

un po' alto il rapporto qualita'/prezzo ma purtroppo in agosto in Islanda e in particolare nei westfjords, questi sono i costi : circa eur 300 a notte. comunque albergo consigliato !!!!

Hotel West was a well-
Pros:

Very easy and welcoming check- in. Staff was incredibly accommodating, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful with many choices. Nice lounge with big screen TV, They offered an “ honesty bar” so you could help yourself to beer, wine and soft drinks that you paid for at check-out. We loved Hotel West and highly recommend a stay there.

Can’t think of anything we didn’t like!

Buena experiencia recorriendo los Fiordos del Oeste
Pros:

Camas muy cómodas, a 5 minutos caminando tienes un restaurante para cenar. Muy buena la idea del Honest Bar, coges los que quieras y tú mismo lo pagas con tarjeta.

La vista dalla finestra e la colazione.

Cons:

Stanza molto piccola ma assolutamente inaccettabile l'insonorizzazione.... è stato difficile addormentarsi e il risveglio è avvenuto grazie ad una telefonata molto accesa del vicino di stanza.

Cozy and clean, great location
Pros:

The room was cozy and clean. The bed was comfortable and the linen smelled great. There was plenty of hot water (a must after a walk in the moody Icelandic weather). The fjord was literally across the street, we could see the water and hear the seabirds. The wonderful lady at the front desk greeted us warmly. She answered all our questions and also showed us pictures of the recent solar eclipse and the Aurora Borealis visible from the hotel (during darker months). We had breakfast the next morning; check in and out was smooth and effortless; parking was included. Hotel operates during winter months too. Note: If you have mobility issues, ask for a first floor room.
