The room was beautiful and the fireplace made it extra special.
Not many restaurants in the area. The room itself could have had suitcase racks. We had to place our suitcases on the floor.
Friendly staff and pretty decor throughout the hotel. Bathroom was nicely updated and room had ample space to spread out and relax. Hotel wasn't located right in the heart of town, but was only a short walk from shops and restaurants.
The hotel does not have any AC so since it was fairly warm for this time of year (18c) the room got quite warm and didn't have a way to easily cool it down. The window could crack open for a breeze and there was a small fan provided but the room remained quite warm throughout the night and day. Our TV also randomly turned on in the middle of the night twice during our stay which woke us up at 3am.
Breakfast choices were good. I didn’t want everything in the Irish breakfast but staff were very helpful and accommodating so I got what I wanted and extra too without wasting food.
The classic historical decor and feel of the hotel was amazing. Everything was very clean and tasteful
Very busy road outside especially with the rally going on and not in the center of town near the shops and restaurants.
Parking in the lower lot was challenging with luggage as the only way up to reception was via stairs or on the ramp
Stunning room with top class facilities
Staff not very affable. . Booking and check in processes left a lot to be desired. Lot's of passive/aggressive contact from hotel before arrival. At check in, I was asked to pay again even though I had already settled up before arrival. Staff grumpy and unhelpful. Customer service poor bar one cleaner who exuded kindness and warmth.

room 115,hot water tap in bathroom leaking and water pressure too high, splashing everywhere,noisy cleaners with cleaning room beside and lifting shaft also,dampness in lower wall and skirting.
The location was ideal to every amenity of the town. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating especially Justin and Marie on reception

The bed was super soft with a mattress topper which might be lovely for some, but myself and my partner found it very uncomfortable.
Amazing hotel, beautifully decorated with lots of history. We were at the townhouse which was the best experience I’ve had in Ireland so far.

How futuristic the rooms were and how fancy and comfortable the place feels all at the same time we stayed for the rally of the lakes and we had a bottom floor window and were able to look out an at the road while still being able to talk to friends.
