The garden, lobby and rooms are great. Bed was very comfortable and the staff is friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately and unrelated to the hotel, this summer featured a biblical wave of crickets. It's all over the coastal area in Peru and the hotel can't do anything about it. But the hotel can certainly glue a bit insulation around the garden doors so that these crickets stay outdoors and not invade the room. It's a pity having such a posh room full of live and dead crickets.
The terrain is amazing with a very well-kept garden and nice, spacious rooms and lobby. Very tranquil, great place to relax. Gino is an amazing host that really helps you feel comfortable and is very attentive.
The shower wasn’t working properly, extremely low water pressure and no warm water. Also we had no electricity for a night + morning and there was no personnel available in the evening or night to contact for issues like this. This level of attention doesn’t fit a boutique hotel like this, I would expect at least someone to be around 24/7 in case guests need urgent help.
