Our stay at the Hilton was the highlight of our trip.
Pros:

Gosh...where do I begin! The decor throughout the hotel, including our room, was beyond breathtaking! I noticed everything and was so impressed...from the glasses in our beverage tray (not plastic) (with paper coasters!) to the subtle nighttime lighting in the bathroom mirror, to the picture over the toilet (loved it...took photo. Want to buy for myself) to the inserts in the wastebaskets instead of bags! Now to the lobby and hallways, all with nautical decor. Ships etched in the glass, portholes with fish swimming, nautical flag decor, historical canvases on the walls, the indoor firepits/couches, etc etc. I cannot stop talking about the Hilton! The breakfast was top notch, very classy and reasonably priced!

Cons:

Hmm... only ONE discomfort for us was the fact that our room was quite away down the hall. We searched for an entrance/exit door to park near so we wouldn't not have to carry our bags so far. We traveled light. I do realize that there were porters and luggage carriers on wheels, but we would not have engaged them with what we had to carry. I also thought it was unusual that the hotel charged us $10 to park. Not sure why they did that...parking your car in the parking area is unavoidable.

Will definitely be back. It was great!

It’s proximity to sights; it was immaculate. Staff was terrific. The inside garden was delightful.

Pros:

The location of the hotel is great if you are interested in visiting the aquarium or the Olde Mystick Village. Both attractions are a short walk away, making it possible to access shopping and dining without getting back in the car. The hotel lobby is also beautiful.

Cons:

The rooms are unfortunately dated. The bed is not particularly comfortable and the walls are thin. I heard my neighbors’ conversations. Please also be advised that this is the only property in Mystic that charges for parking. When I booked, the policy on Booking was that parking was free. I brought this to the staff’s attention and was told I should have checked the Hilton website and that other properties in the area charge. They are literally the only one and why would I have gone on the Hilton website if I was booking with a third party? After speaking to numerous people about this, they waived the charge, which was kind. Breakfast is also available for an additional charge.
There are nicer options with more included amenities nearby and I think I will choose to stay with non-Hilton properties moving forward

Nice location in Brooklyn
Pros:

The location in downtown Brooklyn was perfect.
Metro and buses are a few minutes away.
Same for major shopping malls, Starbucks, and everything you may need.
There is also a nice playground for kids just next block.
The property was clean and they allow you to park your car in the garage nearby.
After check-out they offer luggage storage service (2$ x item)

Cons:

Our room (double queen) was quite small, which makes it a bit impractical when you are a family of 4 with 2 children. I may recommend to go for a larger room.
The garage doesn't allow you to reach your car for the entire stay. This should be made a bit more clear in the property description.
Not a problem for us (as we stayed only one night), but people staying longer may want to know in advance.

Overall a great stay.. clean, comfortable room and grounds
Pros:

The front desk people and the housekeepers were amazing.. very nice!
Rooms were clean
Lots of friendly areas to hang out
Close to many things

Cons:

The bartender in the restaurant was not friendly. Was a little rude.
My son didn’t see the menu the bartender had laid down and asked for a drink menu.
The bartender said in a rude way.. I just gave it to you, it’s right in front of you.
He just seemed annoyed to be there.
