The location was great and the lobby looked amazing. The room was clean.
Kind of small complaints, but they compounded. The water pressure in the shower was poor, the toilet paper dispenser was behind the toilet which I have never seen before; it was pretty uncomfortable to reach back to get what you needed for toilet paper. There was a light in the closet that was malfunctioning, for several nights it was like a strobe light going off and even with the closet door shut, you could see it through the door vents. My friend and I found the beds uncomfortable. The faucet to the shower was backwards, cold was hot, hot was cold. I know we are not the highest class people, but for staying in a Hilton, we expected something just a bit more than what we got.
The lobby is very nice. They had a movie for the kids on Saturday in the pool area and they had a little candy bar set up in the lobby.
Our room had a strong musty smell. It looks like they had a leak in the ceiling/ wall and I’m not sure it dried out. It smelled like a wet basement and I woke up with a horrible sore throat and stuffy nose. As soon as I showered and left the hotel I felt fine. The bathroom had dirty tissues in the shelving where they put the towels that clearly got missed when they turned over the room. Our beds also did not have a fitted sheet on them. They had a mattress pad and then they covered it with a top sheet so I felt like the beds were also not properly cleaned/ made. I’ve never had an experience like this honestly. During checkout only one elevator was working so we had to wait a while to get down stairs with all of our bags. When I went to talk to someone at the front desk no one was there after waiting a while I had to leave. We were here for a cheerleading competition and I felt like I definitely over paid for the gross room we got stuck with.
Every Hilton team member we encountered was exceptionally friendly, especially those at the front desk. They were both welcoming and highly informative, making our experience even more enjoyable.
Our sheets were dirty, the bedroom and bathroom were in need of upgrading, the curtains in the hallway were stained, and the breakfast was awful and not worth the money.
Nice rooms, great restaurant & great location
Lobby area was very modern. The pool was clean and very large. I requested my rooms to be adjoining and they fulfilled that request.
The rooms were kind of dirty. Bathroom floor had dirt and hair on it which was pretty offputting. The rooms themselves were not renovated and I was disappointed for the price.
I loved how close it is to the aquarium and all the different statues and decorations they had. The hotel is very well put together and the cleanest one I’ve stayed at.
I have zero complaints
I loved the gym area and the restaurant. Staff were great as well!
Pool water was very cold. Small bathroom.
All in all, very friendly and professional Staff. Great big room, nice restaurant, perfect little convenience store, peaceful pool w Adult swim hours and walking distance to great restaurants and shops. Hilton Should be able to arrange some type of shuttle service to Mystic train station however. That would be a big help to guests from out of town
Very poor experience checking in. Front desk clerk Adams was completely unsympathetic. Too bad -- the hotel is fine otherwise.
Hilton Mystic is a great hotel. I loved everything about it. The staff was great; very welcoming and kind. The pool, the restaurant and the location were very convenient, providing a relaxing stay. The room was clean and spacious, with plenty of storage. The bathroom was super clean with a great shower that came with shampoo, conditioner and a body wash. It also had a blow dryer which was very convenient. Not every hotel room comes with a blow dryer. The room also had a huge mirror which I loved. I really loved the room!! ❤️❤️❤️
There was really NOTHING I didn't like about my stay at the Hilton Mystic. I will definitely be back and will recommend it to all my family and friends.
