Pros:

I enjoyed the Antique vibe of the hotel. Our room had a balcony,was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly..Breakfast was included with make your own fresh orange juice the old way. It was great. Location was very good. Tickets were given for free tram rides. A very comfortable, convenient hotel. Would recommend.

Zentrale Lage mit Charme – aber hellhörig und etwas laut / Great location and charm – but outdated and noisy
Pros:

Sehr gute Lage in Gehdistanz zum Bahnhof, Straßenbahn und Bus in unmittelbarer Nähe. Freundliche Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption. Der historische Charakter ist beeindruckend, insbesondere der rund 120 Jahre alte Lift. Das Einzelzimmer war zwar klein, aber sehr sauber.

Very well located within walking distance of the train station, with tram and bus stops nearby. Friendly reception staff at check-in. The historic character is notable, especially the 120-year-old elevator. The room, although small (single room), was very clean.

Cons:

Es gibt nur einen einzigen Hotelparkplatz – ist dieser belegt, muss man auf eine nahegelegene Parkgarage ausweichen (3–5 Minuten zu Fuß, CHF 35 pro 24h). Die alte Bausubstanz bringt Nachteile mit sich: sehr hellhörig, dünne Türen, Geräusche von anderen Gästen und vom Gang deutlich hörbar. Der historische Lift hält nicht zwischen den Stockwerken, was unpraktisch ist. Das Frühstück ist einfach, ohne Zusatzoptionen wie frisch zubereitete Eier; nur harte Eier und eingeschränkte Kaffeeauswahl (bei mir gab es keinen Cappuccino).
Für eine Nacht in Ordnung, für längere Aufenthalte für mich weniger geeignet.

Only one hotel parking space available – if occupied, you have to use a nearby parking garage (3–5 minutes on foot, CHF 35 per 24h). The historic building also means drawbacks: very poor sound insulation, thin doors, and noise from hallways and neighboring rooms. The old elevator cannot stop between floors, which makes it less practical. Breakfast is basic, with no additional options like freshly prepared eggs; only hard-boiled eggs and limited coffee choices (no cappuccino).
Overall, suitable for a short stay, but not ideal for longer visits.

Pros:

Hotel muito bem localizado. Bem próximo a estação, bem central, supermercado perto. Tudo perto. Boa cama e lençóis.

Cons:

Barulho dos trens e ônibus passando na rua. O isolamento acústico do quarto não é muito bom.

A nice hotel in the centre of Bern
Pros:

The location is perfect and only 5 mins walk from the main station. There is a tram stop outside the hotel. The hotel also offers a free city ticket for use on public transport for all guests. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was also good

Cons:

Our room was at the front of the hotel and was quite noisy due to the trams directly outside the window. There was also a strange smell coming from the drain in the bathroom

Cons:

Entlüftung des Badezimmers ging in das Nachbars-Badezimmer. Toilettenpapier war leer, Kleenexbox auch. Und das Wasser der Vorgänger war noch im Wasserkocher drin...
