Clean , comfortable, pleasant staff & management
Small rooms but clean and very comfy!
Staff was nice enough. Property is very basic. “Breakfast included” is pushing the envelope. Their website speaks of amenities that are “going to be added” but obviously that has not happened yet. The property is quiet though and sufficient for one person overnight.
Not what we expected but turned out to be a fun adventure. If you are one or two people looking for a compact clean basic place for a reasonable price and friendly staff, don't be put off by first appearances. There are no frills and the complementary breakfast burritos were really good and just the right size. Only glitch was I forgot to let them know we would not be eating breakfast the second morning. Felt bad when we had to leave.
A free decent breakfast and friendly staff
Good location
Bed had dead bugs in bed frame
Bathroom smelled bad
Floor was dirty
I thought this might be an interesting place to stay and it was. However, it wasn't as nice as I had hoped. I knew the room would be small and space would be tight, but wow....one or 2 bodies in the room fills it up. If all you are doing is coming in, using the bathroom and going to bed, it's fine. Not good for those who are claustrophobic. The sheets and pillow cases were well worn although they did appear clean. There were a few tiny bugs on the bed that we could not identify...they were definitely NOT bed bugs but it still made us a little uneasy. I had read about great breakfast burritoes so I was greatly disappointed by only having a cup of coffee and the option of 2 cold breakfast cereals and some granola bars and bags of chips. Wow. Not sure who wrote the reviews I had read.
I stayed here based on ratings in Booking.com. The highlight appeared to be a breakfast burrito that was palatable but in no way compensated for the accommodation. The room was very small and the location awful. A friend said the picture looked like a mobile Army barracks, and it felt like it. I'm surprised the place has been approved as a hotel and would be amazed if it's insured.
Burrito was great
Rooms clean
Room was small, but we expected that, the listing shows the rooms well.
Super clean and very nice. The woman running the inn was wonderful and very friendly.
Just no. Don’t do it. Don’t believe the “it’s quaint” reviews. You are staying in a glorified prison trailer. The room is Tibet, the floors can’t help but be filthy because the outside is mud and dirt. There are NO AMENTIES. I was offered a breakfast burrito, but the kitchen I saw was filthy…I wouldn’t eat anything out of there. The TV did not work initially. Also, while an employee was trying to fix it, another employee walked in our room asking her questions. It’s a tiny room and four people in it was 3 too many. Pay the extra money and stay in a real hotel. Oh…and if you check it out on Booking.com, please do not believe their claims to have playgrounds, valet parking, etc. The only way there is valet parking is if someone steals your car and maybe they consider the giant wooden spool in the courtyard to be a playground, but I don’t.
I liked it was close to the area we needed. Went to The Brewing Company to eat. AmaZING food and great entertainment.
The room itself, was not a queen bed, but a full size bed.
The room was very clean.
The staff were very kind and helpful.
They do have a continental breakfast, they also make a nice breakfast burrito.
Thank you.
When I first arrived I thought no way! In an industrial terrain? Pods set up for emergency lodging? Then I opened our room and found a gem.
Pristine clean, comfortable bed and with delightful touches that showed care like origami flowers on toilet paper and facial tissue. Thick and lush bath towels. I had not experienced this when first viewing the motel. Service was very friendly and efficient plus a tasty breakfast. We picked the motel due to its close proximity to Carlsbad Caverns.
It was good for 2 people looking for a place to spend a night on the road. Room was small. You wouldn't want to have more than two people in the room.
Bed was comfortable and room was clean.
Location was dismal. It’s basically a series of single-wide trailers. They advertised an “exceptional” breakfast burrito but staff had to be awakened at 8am to even get coffee from the office. Only breakfast offering were apples, bananas and cereal. This is clearly a motel for oil field workers and other laborers. Definitely not a place for tourists and should not pop up on booking.com for anyone who is traveling for pleasure. The booking reviews are extremely misleading.
