Do your research. There are much better places to stay at than this Hilton property.
Pros:

The location was ok. When we had problem after problem someone came right away to fix it.

Cons:

The property seemed run down. All the lobby furniture was ratty and torn. Our room had a constant musty smell. We woke up on the 2nd day to water all over our bathroom floor due to the air conditioner leaking and clogged.

I wouldn't recommend staying at this property
Pros:

Location was great... the pool area was great

Cons:

The fact I had asked for a room NOT to back onto the elevators and I was told they were the only connecting rooms available - which I find very hard to believe... the noise of the elevators was constant even at 4am in the mornings.... through the day it wasn't noticeable due to the outside noise but at night it was very loud and disturbing.
I was charged US $50 to have connecting rooms - which I feel should have been waived due to the elevator noise.
Queues for breakfast every morning - best to eat out, cheaper, friendlier and no queues.

Would stay here if I ever come back to Honolulu, and choose Mountain View.
Pros:

The location was nice and convenient with the beach access just one city block away. There were plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The view of the mountains were stunning. The air conditioning kept the room very cool and comfortable. I just wish the shower head was removable. The staff was fine,I would absolutely stay here again if I find myself back in Honolulu.

Just the shower head not being removable.

We would definitely use this hotel again when visiting Oahu.
Pros:

We liked the beautiful view of the mountain and the distance to the beach and shopping. We liked that we were able to walk to everything.

Cons:

We appreciated having the mini fridge but would have liked a small microwave to heat up our delicious leftovers.
Other than this, we enjoyed our stay.

Old run down property
Pros:

When we checked in the front desk agent was amazing, he was very kind and helpful. Later that day I went to shower and there was a used bar of soap in the bathroom and long hair in the tub. We changed rooms which took 1 hour of day on the day we arrived tired and sleepy. The manager offered us $100 for food and beverage as a courtesy. When we went to the bar the next day to use the credit, we ordered something drinks from their menu and all three drinks tasted terrible, like rubbing alcohol mixed with sugar syrup. We let the bar tender know, his name is Masimo, he literally looked at us and said “ok” and took our drinks back and walked away. Such an odd Interaction. He was giving us dirty looks before we even ordered. Then later I noticed big blotches of Mold In our closet. At this point we were tired of complaining because the issues kept coming up and we wanted to enjoy our trip. I never thought a hotel could ruin ur vacation but this hotel definitely ruined our entire time there. The staff was nice throughout the hotel but this place is falling apart, everything is cheap quality, the soap the shampoo even the toilet paper is Scott brand the cheapest nastiest u can buy. The elevators went down one night and there were lines just to get to ur room. The pictured look nice online but when u get there it’s all a scam. They need to renovate asap, we used points to stay here and regret it so much , we wasted our hard earned points on a motel 6 basically.

Pros:

Excellent location just a few minutes walk from the famous Waikiki beach! We had a fabulous view of the ocean and the room was really spacious. Loved the fact we could take a towel out for the day to the beach as well!

Fun little staycation.
Pros:

The amenties were amazing, the hot tub and the pool were excellent. The room was nice.

Cons:

The breakfast sucked, I don't know how you can overcook and undercook a pancake at the same time.

Recent stay
Pros:

Recently stopped in this hotel. Staff were friendly and good location. Rooms were ok but really needed a deep clean. There was a build up of dirt and dust around the skirtings and doors. Breakfast was included within our stay. The buffet breakfast was very average, always seemed to have a queue to get in with only one person showing people to their tables. Food was limited and seemed to be a shortage. It seemed you come in off the street and purchase breakfast and you seemed to get a better quality breakfast than the buffet. Pot of coffee instead of the average/poor machine coffee, better pancakes, french toast, different cooked eggs instead of the scrambled eggs on the buffet and when asked if we can have poached eggs we have to pay extra. Not what I would expect from a Hilton hotel.
