AZIMUT Hotel Kemerovo

Отелю не мешал бы ремонт. Ощущение, что к бабушке в гости приехал. Шумоизоляция нулевая. Слышно как хлопают дверями на всем этаже.

В целом хороший отель с отзывчивым персоналом. Удобное расположение, открытый паркинг, чистые номера, заказ ужина в номер также оставил приятное впечатление.

В общее состояние на 3-, все довольно старое , мебель , сантехника и прочее, завтраки очень скудные , своих денег явно не стоит.

I was met with a Booking.com sign showing 8.3 at the reception desk. Looked really promising but after entering the room I realized this hotel must have an active fan club giving good points in reviews.

The room was old and in need of makeover. Bathroom was more or less decent but smelly from sewage shafts. Carpet in the room was old and smelly from polypropylene and many years of usage. Bed linen were clean, but the overall impression of the room was really Soviet style.

The door of the room was not properly fixed (was more or less hanging lose with some connection to the insulation foam). Unsafe feeling although I guess there was no real risk as hotel was pretty well secured.

The only positive impression was the reception staff. Nice and correct with a sense of humor.

Breakfast was dull and porridge was cold. Nothing that I will remember for a long time.

I would say average hotel, nothing special, simple room but good enough for 1 night. Can't say anything about breakfast because I was sleeping. staff helpful and english speaking. No Amex card accepted.

That being said it is not luxurious in any way. The facilities is old and the interior is not modern nor old soviet style- bit more towards the soviet style.
Breakfast fast can be served in the room very early. This is a big plus when you know the flight schedule to Moscow.
The restaurant on the ground flow is also a big plus. It is very high quality and great selection as I see it.

Everything looks relevant for 4* hotel in Russia. Clean rooms and good breakfast at hotel restaurant (nice cooking and beer). Location is near the city center. Easy to get to airport. Convenient for business trips.

Whoever knows Russian (local) hotels in the regions (Crystal being one them), will find this hotel pretty good.

Arrived early morning from Moscow. The check-in was fast, and the staff at the reception was very welcoming.

The rooms and the hotel in general are a kind of a mix between soviet era style with modern touches. Free WIFI (fast) in the rooms, LCD TV, a desk to work on, a good bed and a minibar.

So in general the hotel and the accommodation was good. And I will stay here again on my next trip to Kemerovo.

The best part about the hotel is its restaurant. Totally unexpected. Excellent food, excellent coffee and a very good service. We organized a couple of dinners with clients there and every one was happy and satisfied.

Check in was painfully slow.

Room is tiny and sparse. The room was over-heated but the air-con worked so I had to turn it on in the middle of winter to get the room temp down below 30C.

No hot water in bathroom. At all. Went to desk to complain. They wouldn't move me to a room that had hot water. I had to argue with them for 45 minutes while they fixed it.

No gym.

Very expensive lobby restaurant for dinner (although food was very good).

Breakfast was limited, the stuff that was supposed to be hot (eggs, sausage) was cold, and the stuff that was supposed to be cold (yogurt, milk, juice) was room temperature. I took a plate and walked straight into their kitchen and put it in the microwave.

Next day... same problem.

Bottom line - avoid this place.
