A good place for a small event
Pros:

3-night stay

I stayed here for a small convention, with a couple of Disneyland days on either side. The location worked well for that purpose. It’s not walking distance to Disneyland, but it’s a short, easy drive if you have a car. I used Lyft both directions. Fares ran between $12 and $16 per trip, six trips total. The ART bus also stops just outside the hotel, which is a viable option if you do not mind a bit more travel time.

Staff were consistently competent and cheerful. Check-in and general interactions were smooth. The hotel is well set up for small events. The conference rooms are just off the main lobby and easy to find, which makes logistics simple for attendees.

The room itself was nice, and the bed was comfortable. The weekend breakfast buffet was solid. Notably, some of the better scrambled eggs I have had at a hotel buffet.

There were a few functional issues. Three of the USB ports near the beds did not work. The climate control struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature. Water pressure in the shower was underwhelming.

At a glance, the property appears moderately well-maintained, but a closer look suggests some cost-cutting. The lobby carpet had noticeable staining. In the restroom off the lobby, they were using napkins in place of proper paper towels, which is not an adequate substitute.

Overall, it is workable and convenient for a short stay tied to events or Disneyland, with good staff and breakfast. However, the maintenance and infrastructure issues keep it from feeling fully polished. While it would not be my first choice for a primarily Disneyland-focused trip, I would not be averse to staying there again.

A good place to stay for the value
Pros:

The Hotel Fera Anaheim is a good, nice, clean hotel. Its location is located across the street from the UC Irvine Medical Center and is close by to the Orange Outlet Mall. The front desk employees were extremely friendly, helpful and went above and beyond in helping us during our stay. The room was clean, but beware when showering; the way the shower head and shower curtains were positioned (the shower head appeared broken as you could not adjust the settings nor the angle of it), it ended up leaking water onto the bathroom floor (unbeknownst to me at the time). The fridge really worked well and kept our drinks really cold.

The only negative would be ordering room service from the restaurant downstairs (The Peel Craftbar and Kitchen). The first time we ordered breakfast in the morning, a little over an hour had passed and we figured they must have been busy. We tried calling the restaurant (there is no direct number, you have to be connected by the front desk), but no one answered the phone after 3 tries. On the last try when the front desk clerk saw that we had called a few times already. she asked if there was something she could help us with. We explained that we were waiting for our food from room service and she related that she would personally check on our order. The next thing we know, the front desk clerk brought our food to our room! Outstanding service. The next day we ordered room service again and we waited about two hours and had not received our food yet. We called the restaurant and whomever answered the phone, was very curt and short with us, said they would check on our order and hung up without saying anything else. Within about 15 minutes, an employee brought our food to our room and apologized profusely, even though it was not their fault. The food was good, though.

The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet, except our room was on the hospital side so a lot of sirens were heard throughout the night (we even saw the Medevac helicopter land at the hospital!).

Ashley was AMAZING
Pros:

Yesterday we came to the peel for breakfast and it was extremely busy. There was a long line and it took a while to be seated then another while for before somebody came to talk to us. Ashley came over asked us if we had been helped, and when she found out we she jumped right in took our order brought our drinks out. It was very sweet and accommodating. Not only for my husband and myself, but for the tables next to us as well she jumped in as if she was a server alreadyand handled everything well. She other staff like Ashley other reason we keep coming back to the Fera
