The valet was great customer service. Everyone else act like we didn’t belong.
The night front desk was horrible upon check in and answering questions. He told me I will be charged a total of $450 for all 3 nights for accidentals and parking upfront. I’ve stayed at doubletrees around the world I never been told that and he said it’s policy with his co workers co-signing with him.
The daytime front desk did not rely to housekeeping that we needed service in our room for 2 days . We came in from Disney, the beach, and long days to unmade beds and no towels. One night I called the front desk to ask what happened no clear explanation . I asked for towels and the front desk guy told me come get them. Wow. Not to mention the fridge was not working upon checking in the room. I needed it for meds so they sent a great maintenance guy to switch me out but here’s the bad part we checked in at 1:30am he wasn’t able to come until 2:15/2:30am .. everything thing in the room was unplugged. Also the comforter had a permanent stain I put it in the hallway after requesting housekeeping still no results. I slept with just a sheet!
Upon check out, I received my final Bill it charged me for valet and self parking when my car sat in valet the entire stay because we Lyft everywhere. That was disgustingly bad especially when the front desk looks puzzled on why that was charged. How many other people do this hotel get over on?
I’ve stayed at this hotel well over a dozen times. It’s a great place to wind down. The ambience is great, THE PEEL has a relaxing feel for breakfast and a great vibe at the bar in the evening.
I’m a regular here and I recommend it often!
Location. Close to hospital
The room had a heaviness to it. Did not look like a deluxe room. Bathroom was gross. Mold around the tub, someone’s hair and dirt veins the door. Shower head didn’t work, no exhaust fan.

Location was good, although further away from convention centre, was close to the outlets for food options and minor shopping. The hotel lobby was welcoming, pleasant staff at check in and room service/food was very good. (Really good!!) :)
Cleaning could have been better, even upon check in. Just noticed hairs in bathroom and dirt in corners. To note: 1st request to clean – with no need of bed change) (March 4) was perfectly fine, however our 2nd request (March 6) to have room cleaned was not done. We were told a 'deep clean' by cleaning staff would cost extra ?? so just said do not need bed changed - just need clean towels and refresh bathroom and vacuum floor. Returned after 3:30pm and no cleaning of room.
We really enjoyed staying here this is not our first time , every time we come it gets nicer and better
Parking got really hard to find with a convention going on
Claudia at the front desk is amazing! She is extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. Our check in process was so much easy.
I called to book a hotel reservation over the phone and spoke to an associate who erroneously booked me for that night. When I called the next day, they transferred me to a manager who refused to respond to voicemail an email. When I disputed this with my credit card company they lied and stated that I had booked it and I didn’t follow their cancellation guidelines. Absolute crooks and liars!!
