I was excited to stay at this hotel, on the basis that I'd had a wonderful experience at their SF location years ago. And it's not bad, it's just that it's not as great as I remembered it being.
Pros: Beds are very very comfortable. Transit access is pretty good, a few different lines are accessible within a few blocks' walk. They don't nickel and dime you for early/late checkout. The complimentary drink is a very nice and appreciated touch!
Cons: The hotel rooms feel very European - ie they're very small. It's well organized, but just a bit unexpected for the US.
Tips: The hotel is very close to the highway, and the windows are not well soundproofed. It's not loud - the highway traffic essentially acts like a white noise machine - but it's definitely there and if you're facing the highway you'll hear it.
Size of room and bed. The Trophy bar food was fantastic as were the bar staff
Room 803 Air con was very noisy and lost two nights sleep, complained a few times and it was fixed the day before we were due to leave. Also, the double glazing must have an issue because the outside noise was also disturbing 24/7. No fridge in room and only one breakfast tea bag for a 4 night stay, asked reception for more but they could only supply green tes
It was very clean, considering the bed's size which was big enough the room was small. Coffee and tee services were very good.
Check in at 16.00 our is something really bad. I can understand the difficulty of room changing facilities but it is too late to check in at 16.00. Especially if you are coming from a long distance.
The lobby was small, they let us leave our luggages which is good but you can't wait in the lobby especially in the checking out times. There were a restaurant just next to the hotel but I couldn't feel that I can wait and sit over there.
Bed, linens were excellent. location is great. Perfect place to have a stay in Boston, staff is kind and helpful, restaurant and bar attached. Everything you need for an efficient stay.
Room is small, bathroom is smaller - all functional and worked fine. What would be nice is a sitting chair however. Given the size of room, it was not possible - but it is on par with a Citizen M, maybe better due to having restaurant and bar attached. Rooms are clean, but it's an old building and hallways seem a bit less than modern. Would recommend finding a way to improve hallways even in an old building. tigher carpeting on floor maybe, or different color scheme and lighting. Will stay here again so nothing is that negative. Just observations on what would be helpful and that is a chair versus a small stool.
Friendly staff, comfortable bed
They took $400 as a deposit which seems way too much and I still haven't got it hack. It made it tricky to afford some things while we were there
Mitchell was very helpful in everything we asked for. Food was tasty and enjoyable. Came hot and fast.
Stay Pineapple is a brilliant hotel. Very central and easy to get everywhere in Boston. We went for the World Cup and it is an easy walk to south station. You can also get the bus from the airport and it will drop you off close by.
We walked back late at night and it felt very safe.
The room its self was very comfortable with a huge bed and it was the perfect size for the two of us. The TV had a choice of lots of channels. It was also very quiet.
Mitchell at reception was very helpful along with everyone else that worked there.
I would highly recommend Staypineapple it also has a great pub under the hotel.
Great location, cute rooms and nice stuff. In particular Mitchell from the reception by was very helpful.
The location was great and the bed and room was comfortable and the option for early check in was great.
The bathroom smelled, the fire alarm kept going off at random at 7AM -8 AM of my stay and there was no offer for any kind of reimbursement for that disturbance. The room was right by the stairwell and the door to the stairs opening was so loud I was worried multiple times it was actually my own door that was opening.
Unique property with interesting theme of pineapples.
The bare floor in the room necessitates wearing slippers but was not provided. Once I took off my shoes walking around the room was a filthy affair.
It's a lovely little hotel in a great location, close to Common and city centre and easy access to metro lines about 7mins away.
Room was spacious and spotless, bed was comfy, staff were really nice.
A little on the pricey side but understandable considering the football's on.
