Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen.
Man hat uns auch ein gratis Upgrade gegeben, da das Hotel nicht vollbesetzt war. Wir waren zu dritt und haben dann zwei schöne miteinander verbundene Zimmer bekommen. Das Essen im Restaurant war ausgezeichnet.
Sehr reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet mit zuvorkommenden freundlichen Bedienung.
Wir waren nicht das erste Mal in Kampala. Besseres Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis als andere Hotels, die wir erlebt haben. Das ganze Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.
Wir würden dieses Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen. wir kommen wieder….
The food
Stuffy mouldy room. Poor etiquette from some of the staff i.e. barging inside the room in the middle of the night, no welcoming or orientation at check in, lack of towels and on request taking an entire century to be availed, construction taking place while inside the room. So many things that just don't show the value of the price paid.
Perfect location near restaurants and mall. Great breakfast with variety of organic foods. Excellent customer service. We enjoyed our stay

I stayed at Hilton Garden Inn Kampala for three days during a recent trip to Kampala, and the experience was comfortable, consistent, and well suited for both work and rest.
The location is one of the hotel’s strongest advantages. Situated on Kira Road, opposite the British High Commission, it offers easy access to Acacia Mall and several restaurants and cafés within walking distance. Moving around the city from this location was convenient and saved a lot of time.
The room was clean, quiet, and thoughtfully laid out. The bed was comfortable, the workspace was practical, and the Wi-Fi was reliable throughout my stay, which made it easy to work without interruption. Housekeeping was consistent, and the room remained fresh and well kept each day.
Service stood out in a quiet but meaningful way. The staff were courteous, attentive, and genuinely helpful whenever I needed assistance. There was a sense that they cared about the guest experience, not just the routine of the job, and that always makes a difference when travelling.
I must mention that I was pleasantly surprised that the Hilton Garden Inn Kampala does not charge for room service, that alone made me just love the hotel, spoke volumes about the commitment of the management to caring for their guests...
