Beautiful property and surroundings.
The rooms and bathrooms are outdated. You could find more luxuries at a moderately priced hotel.
The building the structure inside was very nice and fancy the rooms were great nice and clean. Staff was were very professional greeting from everyone that worked there was nice.
Having to pay for parking even though we stayed at the hotel. It would be nice if it was lesser amount or free. Also getting one breakfast voucher for 2 night stay it would be nice to get an extra voucher.
Location was great
Staff members were really poor. First of all, I got a room with 2 Queen beds and I wasn’t even informed about the change, meanwhile I booked 1 king bed. When I called immediately I got to the room, the agent I spoke with claimed there were no other rooms available. I had to go downstairs and met someone else who then changed my room and got me breakfast vouchers which I never got. I was charged parking fees for 2 days and was told the gate automatically opened knowing I was a guest, meanwhile I parked for only 12 hours and paid the toll myself during the exit because the gate didn’t open. It was a shambolic experience.
It was clean
I didn’t like that I booked a king room and when we checked in they told me they were sold out. They asked if we wanted a double bed room and we said sure that’s fine but the staff failed to tell us it was 2 full beds not 2 queens. My husband and I slept in two separate beds! We also don’t like that there’s a sign that says get your parking validated at the check in desk but I still not charged for parking. Will be calling customer service
Enjoyed my stay for a conference. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Cassara H. at the front desk was especially helpful, helped me with a great place for lunch and helped walk through and explain a billing question. A plus customer service. Also a shout out to Pete who worked at front door and recommended places to go on my first time in Chicago.
Ms Chen in the On the house breakfast was exceptionally kind and helpful. She took her time each day to explain closing times opening times and to make sure that ourneeds were met while here we wish to thank her for always being kind.
Ernestine is my saviour! She was so kind and helpful when I went in to the lost and found and I would be lost without her! She made the experience so delightful and was genuinely the best person I could have asked for in that moment. Ernestine’s boss if you’re reading this give her a promotion she deserves everything! Also a lovely stay.
Everything was outstanding. Rooms were clean and everyone was beyond hospitable. Peter was amazing and everything was convenient and wonderful.
Beautiful hotel and very friendly staff! Special shout-out to Peter for his knowledge and hospitality.
Good quality good location
Good service
But high prices
Just wanted to give a shoutout and a huge thanks to Ernestine in security. I lost my business credit card and her and the other security staff helped me in searching for it and we found it! So so thankful!
Magnífica vista del lago Michigan en hotel clásico.
Stayed there over the weekend for a fun time in Chicago and used Hilton points. Location is nice and room was ok. The concern or annoyance is that every time you get off the elevator you are ambushed by people selling vacation timeshares. It reminded me of lions at the watering hole waiting for their prey. Then as I tried to check out I got hit up again. Hilton stop this as it is annoying and predatory. If you are gonna sell these have a booth or something.
Just wanted to say if you plan on going to Chicago this is where to stay. Most importantly the staff is competent and patient. When we checked in I was hoping to change our room to a suite. Inder the front desk person found what we needed. He was so helpful and kind. Also there are many staff members around to help answer questions. And the location is great.
Larone was amazing!! Stay was great!!
Pros: This is a massive, extremely busy downtown hotel, but the staff does and amazing job keeping the property clean and well-maintained. The location is excellent, and there is a great restaurant right on the premises.
Cons: Our only complaint about the entire stay was the hotel does not offer room service, despite having a full service restaurant downstairs.
Overall: A very nice, clean, and high-energy stay. Just keep the lack of room service in mind if your prefer dining in your room.
