We had a magical 48-hour stay at the hotel, leaving only for dinner a short walk away. Everyone at the hotel from the front desk to concierge to the pool staff to room service and maid service and valet made us feel incredibly special and pampered. Everything at the hotel was perfectly appointed and we felt like we were living in a castle with incredible bedding, welcoming rooms, lots of amenities, and DELCIOUS food (the ham and cheese omelet I had one morning was one of the best I've had in my life). We are local (we came for a Spring Break staycation) and we will absolutely be back for more memory making and relaxation at - as far as I'm concerned - the best hotel in Chicago. Thank you to all the Four Seasons staff for making our stay truly delightful!
Everything about this FS is above and beyond expectation. The location is also perfectly located walking distance to all the top shops and restaurants as well as close proximity to the water. Highly recommend.
Great location. Beautiful room. Attentive staff.
I always stay at a four season where I can. Chicago is a great city and its Four Season property is up to the task. I would only stay here.
Thank you so much for a wonderful place to unwind and connect with my family. Thank you to : ANGEL, VINCENTE, JOHANNA, CAMILLO, ANNA in the spa (best therapist guys!!!), VERNADINE (please book her for a pedicure-she's a legend). and of course JEFF, BRADLEY and COURTNEY!!! Seriously, the best Easter holiday ever. Tons to do for families (bracelet making station?!.. so cool) and a relaxing time for adults (Adorn Brunch is not to be missed and the gentleman who runs it is so sweet) Also, a huge thank you to the concierge team! Guys, These are the super outstanding ppl who make the Four Seasons the best place in Chicago. Yes the location is perfect… but these folks make your stay elegant and memorable. Save their names and look for them. If you know you know!
I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to Luis from Concierge, who made our stay truly unforgettable. Upon learning that we were celebrating our anniversary, he thoughtfully arranged a beautiful surprise in our room, paying attention to every detail. His knowledge and professionalism were exceptional, and he secured a wonderful dinner reservation for us that exceeded expectations.
I would also like to thank Liz from Reservations, who was incredibly kind and helpful when I called to request a baby crib—her assistance made everything seamless and stress-free.
We were delighted to receive a gracious room upgrade with a magnificent view, thanks to the Front Desk team. This gesture added an extra layer of luxury to our experience.
This stay once again reaffirmed why the Four Seasons brand stands out globally. The level of service, consistency, and attention to detail is unmatched, and it clearly reflects the outstanding training and culture instilled within the team.
We will absolutely return and I will continue recommending Four Seasons hotels to all of my clients with full confidence.
Thank you once again to Luis and the entire team for an exceptional experience.
Warm regards,
Ana

Our one night staycation was nothing short of spectacular. Thanks to the $300 hotel credit with our AMEX Platinum card, we treated ourselves to a night at the Four Seasons Chicago for an overnight trip with our five year old daughter.
Arrival and check-in were a breeze, espcially with the incredible upgrade we were given to a suite on the top floor (46!). The room was beyond amazing - huge bathroom with both a tub and shower, view of the lake, large separate sitting area, and a big fluffy comfortable bed. Our daughter LOVED the treasure chest and still plays with her little llama toy two weeks later.
We really enjoyed the huge pool and hot tub and spent much of our afternoon up there. Our biggest complaint the entire trip was that poolside dining took over an hour to arrive despite ordering at 1:30 pm and was $140 for 1 beer, 1 green juice, 2 sandwiches, and 1 shrimp cocktail. A little obscene, but we also knew what to expect.
Our daughter absolutely loved the ice cream cart - really glad we treated her to that experience. We also really appreciated all the kids amenities and spcial treats dropped off to our room.
The entire team was incredibly thoughtful, kind, and helpful. From housekeeping delivering extra waters, coffee pods, and a flat iron, to our amazing bellman Luke, doorman Danny, ice cream guy Bryce, and Adorn staffmember Cristofer - we left feeling like we were valued and respected the entire 36 hours.
You're paying for an experience here, so although it's a luxury I would pay it again. Looking forward already to our next trip!
The Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago is simply lovely. You feel welcome from the moment you get out of your car and walk into the hotel. The entire staff is so professional, courteous and helpful. The restaurant is wonderful. The rooms are spotless. The service is what you can expect at a Four Seasons Hotel - exceptional!
Great stay at a great hotel. Pro tip - get the app and confirm and request any needs like spa availability or restaurant questions. They will go out of their way to accommodate. I had an early arrival at ORD and even after taking my time on the blue line into the loop I still was going to get there at 130. I asked for an early check in via the app and it they said they would try to make it work. When I arrived around 130 they were able to get me a room on the 41st floor. They called it a city view but it was more like a city view / lake view. It seemed like an upgrade and maybe it was. I'm convinced the app helped me as well as me referencing previous stays at Four Seasons and previous spa visits. The room was as expected and crisply clean. I appreciate the turn down service and touches like a filled ice bucket and tidied up personal effects like sunglasses and such. I stayed two nights for business meetings and stopped by after an all day meeting to freshen up as we had a team happy hour at Adorn, the bar on the 7th floor. I noted the housekeeping visit and checked the Lavazza coffee maker for refills as I had used various coffees in the morning, all were great. They had filled it but water was leaking from the coffee maker and dripping onto the floor. It wasn't a huge mess but I didn't want it to become a bigger issue later with a large wet spot. I called the front desk and no one answered after many rings. They were hosting a very busy chef driven culinary event and the entire lobby, bar and restaurant were very busy. I let it go and thought it wasn't a huge deal. I left to go to down to my event at the bar. I'm not sure what transpired but we stayed at Adorn for a few rounds and then left to another bar as Adorn was exceedingly busy and our party of 15 or so was not really able to socialize. This was on us and not Adorn. We didn't think we would need a reservation for drinks but it turns out we did. They squeezed us in any way so kudos to them. So after going out for a few more hours and coming back to my room the coffee maker situation was completely handled. No water streaming across the table and dripping audibly onto the floor, no more wet spot, in fact.... not even damp carpet. Turn down caught it and fixed it or..... something, at any rate it was quietly handled with no fanfare just as one would expect from one of the world's best hotels. The room was very quiet, the bed was great and pillows were best in class. Upon check in I went down to the attached mall, The Shops at 900 and had a burger at Little Cheval. That was exceptional. I went back up to Adorn and had an Old Fashioned which was also great. The house whiskey was Buffalo Trace. The next night at our happy hour at Adorn I had a couple of Espresso Martinis. Those were textbook as well... super solid classic cocktails at Adorn. I would also recommend the spa. I had a basic 50 minute massage and it was outstanding. I love how Four Seasons is exceptional at details. Little things like a full coffee service in the lobby with china or to-go cups and even the lobby checkout gently encouraging me to get a coffee to go as I was heading out to get my 500am ish uber back to ORD. Travel is for sure challenging today but Four Seasons does a smashing job at making your stay as comfortable as possible.
Excellent service and staff. Outstanding staff like Melissa and Vincente at the front desk . Stacy in the Adorn restaurant
Fantastic experience and customer service.
Great Experience! Very friendly staff and Joao was very knowledgeable, helpful and a great asset! Would recommend this hotel to stay at on a trip to Chicago!
When I think about the things that matter to us when traveling, it comes down to personal attentiveness, functionality of the room and facilities, and the “kitchen”. Nothing worked for us here. I can only assume it comes from the top down.
Pros: great housekeeping. Spacious executive room.
Cons: hmmm. Where to start? The toilet didn’t function, and while I understand the need for the front desk to address concerns about the room with “we are fully committed”, the right response is, “can we move you to a functioning room?”
The air conditioning/heating never worked properly during our stay. Does management ever stay in their rooms to make sure they are functioning adequately?
Room service, one of our favorite things about vacations and traveling, was mediocre, at best. In addition to meals taking at least an hour to be delivered, and no one responding to our request to pick up the dishes, the food was mediocre. A major disappointment.
The gym, which looked great, had a peloton which had never been set up, so I spent twenty minutes trying to connect to my account before giving up.
The staff was kind, and doe eyed, but I can only imagine how non existent the management is here.
First world problem, yes. Four Seasons label? No.
Our recent stay at the Four Seasons, Chicago was outstanding. The room was very clean and comfortable and the hotel accommodations were fantastic, but it was the service that elevated it fabulous. Many thanks to everyone, but especially to Don, Laith and the bar team that made our stay memorable.
I recently stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago and was disappointed by several service lapses that fall well below expectations for a property of this caliber.
On the first night, it took multiple calls—nearly five—just to have a pillow delivered to the room. This kind of basic request should be handled promptly and without repeated follow-up.
Breakfast service was similarly underwhelming. While the waitress was initially polite and took the order, there was no subsequent check-in—no refills, no follow-up, and no attention to the table after the food arrived.
Additionally, when ordering food via Uber Eats, I was told by the night manager that delivery could not be sent up to the room. The only options were to come down personally or pay an additional $7 fee for delivery. While the fee itself is nominal, the rigid and transactional approach felt inconsistent with the level of hospitality expected from Four Seasons.
In contrast, my experiences at The Peninsula Chicago have consistently reflected a much higher standard—where service is proactive, thoughtful, and guest-centric.
Overall, this stay felt more procedural than hospitable. For a brand synonymous with luxury, this experience suggests a need to recalibrate service standards and reinforce what true hospitality should look like.
I had such an amazing time at Four Seasons Chicago! The property and room were BEAUTIFUL! I requested to be put on a high floor and they so kindly put me on the 40th floor which was very cool! I don’t think I have ever been up so high! Joao, who is training, was very professional, helpful and kind. I spoke with Mason before coming to the property and he helped make my stay wonderful!
The whole front desk staff was so kind and attentive. It was really fun to talk with them and learn about the property! I really enjoyed the spa steam room and sauna. I also got a chance to take a look at the ballroom and it was so beautiful! It honestly had me daydreaming about having my wedding there ha!
I had a special experience when I believe my turndown attendant and maybe someone at the front desk sent me a fruit amenity on Saturday night (03/28/26). It was so thoughtful and it made my night! Truly such kind people at this property! I will definitely be returning and I hope it is soon!✨😊
The staff and care they gave my family was second to none! Truly a model for any hotel. Every single employee from the bell and reception staff to room service and especially the concierge staff went above and beyond our entire stay
Staff is amazing . They cater to all my needs . Rooms are nice bar is excellent.
"Exceptional service! A special thanks to housekeeping staff as well as the dinning staff. The team truly goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. Highly recommended!" our room was beyond our expectations this hotel maintains every bit of quality and professionalism that comes with the four seasons brand. The bedding is like sleeping on a cloud. There a is no surprise why this is a repeat hotel for me and my family.
my son loves all the treats and the scavenger hunt. Simply the best is an understatement.
if you have not stayed before you would not be disappointed.
Honestly, from start to finish, this stay was amazing. Everyone I came across made me feel completely at home, which is rare and says a lot about the culture they’ve built here.
I got to celebrate my birthday with the most incredible view and couldn’t have asked for a better backdrop. The whole team was attentive and kind.
Shoutout to a few people who really stood out. Manager Mason was wonderful from start to finish. Laura at Adorn was an absolute gem, so personable, patient, and genuinely great at what she does. She made dinner feel special. And the concierge team came through big booking tickets to the Magic Parlour, such an incredible experience and wouldn’t have happened without them.
If you’re debating whether to stay here, don’t. Just book it. I’ll be back.
