Location excellent, close transport
Breakfast average
Was good for the price
Ottima posizione. Nient'altro
The staff was super nice and helpful in general and with finding dinner spots. The rooms are simple and provide only what you need. We werent' spending a lot of time in the room anyway, so it was a good value. Great location.
I always think the towels could be nicer.
L'emplacement
Only location
Dirty bed sheets. Old bathroom. Long hair inside the tub.
Water over flowing from floor drain. Burnt off light bulbs . No complimentary water bottles.
Emplacement
I would like to start with the positives of this hotel, it is in the very center and walking distance to all the main tourist attractions, the hotel staff are very pleasant and try to help. As for the disadvantages, the room was not ready and we arrived after 3 pm, as an excuse we could use the restaurant and have a drink of our choice, the room was spacious for three adults, but the floor was very dirty and dusty, the bathroom was clean but not the others, the water did not flow, the shower head in the bathtub was damaged, tears were flowing, on the toilet door there were noticeable stains from the previous guests' make-up, the mattresses on the double bed were separated and were sliding off the bed. There was nowhere to sit in the room except the bed, we asked for an extra chair or armchair but we were not granted. We are not demanding at all, but for the price of 1000 euros for three nights I would expect a slightly better approach. The hotel also did not inform me about the forgotten hair straightener that I left there, I do not expect it to be sent to my address but an email or message would be acceptable. The price absolutely did not correspond to the services and certainly not 4 stars, maximum 3 and I am adding a lot.

Absolutely terrible experience — avoid this hotel if you are traveling with family or children.
We booked two rooms through Booking.com for 3 adults and 2 young children (ages 3 and 5), fully in line with the hotel’s stated policy that children aged 2–11 stay free of charge. Even the shift manager confirmed this policy upon arrival.
Despite this, after a 7-hour flight, the hotel REFUSED to let us check in and kept us waiting from 9 AM until 3 PM with two exhausted children, a stroller, and multiple bags, while repeatedly saying they were “waiting for a response from management.”
No solution was ever offered.
To make matters worse, we were later told that because it was a holiday weekend, nobody would respond until AFTER the weekend — leaving us stranded in Amsterdam during one of the busiest weekends of the year with almost no accommodation options available.
The staff showed zero accountability, poor communication, and complete disregard for families traveling with young children. We paid nearly EUR 2,000 expecting a reliable and comfortable stay, and instead our entire Amsterdam trip was disrupted before it even began.
If you value professionalism, clear communication, or basic customer care, do NOT book this hotel — especially if you are traveling with kids. This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had.
The location is superb as you're bang in the centre of Amsterdam and the beds were comfy. The reception staff were very welcoming and friendly too.
The bathroom was tiny which made showering more of a challenge. Also the man in charge of breakfast service wasn't aht you'd call friendly.
