Very pleasant stay despite the weather!
Pros:

Angela did a fantastic job in keeping our room clean. She was so sweet and always greeted us with a smile! The ocean front corner room has the most beautiful view, which truly helped us to enjoy our stay despite the Kona Low that dumped an unusual amount of rain for several days. The bed was so comfortable and made for a very good night sleep!

A big shout out to Mark at the front desk who helped me out with things I needed, since my suitcase was left in Atlanta by the airlines. He was so kind to us and made the difficult start to our 40th anniversary trip pleasant. We found all of the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The hotel was out of the hussle and bustle of the city and across from the state park, which was really nice to us.

Beautiful atmosphere, high quality food and service
Pros:

Had such an incredible stay and breakfast in the rain with my beautiful wife. Zack was attentive and thoughtful with ensuring we had an amazing meal. He recommended the salmon Benedict and it was unbelievable. Water glass never sat empty. Great convos throughout the meal. 10/10 will be back

Amazing service
Pros:

I recently dined at The Hut Tree for my husband’s birthday, and the experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the host greeted us with such a warm, positive energy—even while busy, they still made every effort to accommodate us, which I truly appreciated.

Our server, Juan, was exceptional. He really knew the menu inside and out, gave fantastic recommendations, and made sure our drinks came out quickly so we could keep the celebration going without missing a beat.

And the food? Incredible. Everything we ordered was delicious and exceeded expectations. This place truly made the night feel special, and I can’t wait to come back!

Ok but not the best
Pros:

So we booked a vacation package and we were expecting a suite but got a standard room with no view and we had to climb 3 flight of stairs to get to our room—no elevator available.

The food was good but the menu is very limited

Pros:

(ancienne cliente du New Otani hôtel).

Thank you Sonia and KBH!
Pros:

My wife and I have been staying at Kaimana for many years and this latest stay felt like a second home. Sonia, a housekeeper, greeted us every morning in the hall as we went downstairs for coffee. She also made sure we were stocked with water and tea.

Great time at Kaimana Beach hotel
Pros:

Service was great, food was excellent. The hotel staff went the extra mile when the Kona storm hit to make sure we were catered and cared for. A special shout out for Nani who was our server most times. She was very friendly, helpful and definitely added to our positive experience. Hotel is in a beautiful location. Laid back vibes. Only here a couple of days but very happy with the experience.

Just back from a mini reunion on Oahu
Pros:

Many thanks to our Maui Calls travel agent, Donna Bender, who knows all the best stuff (she’s a local Hawaiian and does not charge for her services!!!!). Donna booked our group of 8 into the Kaimana Beach Hotel, a perfect setting for our reunion. Just a walk down the beach from the glitz and busy bright lights of Waikiki, the Kaimana Beach Hotel provides the best of low key beachfront ambiance (as only Hawaii can) and the full service hotel amenities that make vacation and relaxation so easy. Then to make sure we had the “inside scoop” on what to do - Donna gifted each of us a copy of her self-published “The Local Girl's Guide to Oahu” a 125 page digital book that she updates monthly with recommendations for her favorite restaurants, shops, farmers markets, tours and island vacation activities. Get your hands on a copy if you can - it was invaluable for planning our stay and her fresh and frank insights on food ensured that we never had a bad meal nor did we break our budget!
