The staff, particularly Menna - Supervisor in Guest Relations, was fabulous and made sure we had the best experience possible. She made us feel like we were VIPs. We stayed a total of 5 nights and it was all we expected and more.
We have always had a very good experience with the Hilton chain, but this one feels exceptional. Congratulations to Mr. Mohammed Taha, Front Desk Assistant Manager for having such a fine staff.
Should you book the Hilton through a tour group, and that tour group move or "upgrade" to another hotel, insist on staying at the Ramses Hilton - there is no "upgrade" in its' price range.
There is no question that next time we return to Cairo, we will stay at the Ramses Hilton again.
Our original room had an odd oder in the hallway - (possibly fresh carpet smell ?). We were immediately moved to another floor. Great location to drive anywhere, but walking to nearby stores / restsurants could be dangerous if needing to cross the highway for instance to wslk to National Museum 2 blocks away.
Excellent breakfast, terrific location
The room was a little tired
Breakfast is excellent. The highlight is: Doaa will greet you with a big smile and Yasmina will make the best pankakes ever for you. These two ladies are like suns and they made the day bright for us.
When we arrived, the desk lamp was not working (got repaired after two days) and the socket for the coffee machine had broken out of the wall (was not repaired within our stay of seven days).

The hotel had everything we needed. Impeccable cleanliness, extremely comfortable beds and the staff are super professional and polite. I would definitely return.
