Everything. Very handy for slightly disabled husband. Good lifts. Good for eating at the hotel.
I purchased a room especially for the chair in the room, it found it was too low for husband to sit on. I did ask at reception if he could have another chair just for the time we were there but one never arrived.
Mycket trevlig personal och bra läge.
Obekväma sängar. För litet handfat, ingen bra spegel att sminka sig vid.
Location was awesome. Overlooking the river. Centrally located
For the price I paid, I should have gotten a better located room. Technically it was river facing. But they gave me a corner close to construction activity. When I complained. I was moved 2 rooms away. Very disappointed. Staying for 3 nights, I should have been given a better room
Warm and functional
Looks terrible from the outside
La ubicación es excelente!!
Muy cómodo el parking.
Location
Run down, too expensive for what it was. No hot water on day we left. Parking expensive and breakfast also over priced.
Right in the city close to train station, shops, riverside walks, castle etc
Nice clean modern bathroom in our room type.
Unable to open windows, secondary double glazing, unable to open windows. Air condition system did not allow us to cool the room.
お部屋が広くて使いやすい
バス・トイレが狭かったが悪いほどではない
Breakfast could not have been better. Bed was very comfortable and staff most helpful. Thank you!
Our room the first night was right across the street from a noisy pub which kept us awake until 2am; however staff was happy to move us to the other side of the hotel which was perfect. Thank you!
Very close to train and bus stations and centre of town. Room was clean and had all the basics.
Bed was small and pushed up against wall on one side, not great for couples.
Location was noisy due to a group of individuals shouting and hassling each other and passersby for most of afternoon, evening, and into the night, directly below our window. It seems they live in the street, was the same two nights in a row. Helps to have noise cancelling earbuds.
Just returned after a 4 day trip to Inverness. Although the Hotel is in a great location, sadly that was about the only positive thing we can say about it. We had a privilege room on the 4th floor which unfortunately overlooked the street which in the early hours was continually full of screaming, shouting and people fighting I am assuming coming from a nearby nightclub culminating in the police being called last night and arrests being made at 3 a.m. outside the front door of the hotel. We did not get much sleep during the whole of our stay. The rooms and hotel are tired and run down, the staff (except the young lady on our first day of arrival) were unwelcoming and did not make eye contact unless they had to. The cleaning staff were pleasant and helpful and did their best to make our rooms clean and comfortable. The restaurant on our first night took our order but only my husbands meal arrived, mine was 45 minutes later after he had finished his as they "forgot to place mine" I was offered a £5 discount on my meal! Breakfast was OK but no fresh coffee or tea you had to get it from the machine and again the staff were not welcoming whatsoever. This hotel definitely needs some major work done and to support and retrain their staff who clearly are not happy. I really hate leaving negative reviews like this but it was truly awful and I would not go to another Mercure Hotel based on this one.
Very central location which was good
The bed was comfortable , bathroom ok
The noise from the street was unbelievable
Breakfast was ok but not really good. Tough bacon.
Fruit salad uninspiring
I had the misfortune to get put in a street facing room and not river facing. It was the noisiest night in a hotel I’ve ever had with screaming and shouting and fighting outside. No let up at all. I was on the 3rd floor and no sleep till 4am. On a Tuesday night. The hotel MUST know this issue. Goodness knows what weekends are like. Invest in secondary glazing? The hotel was not busy so why not put guests facing the river? £200 a night to be shattered for work. Never again. Awful.
Great location and easily accessible
Very loud, especially with all the windows closed at night trying to damped the noise
Comfy mattress . Breakfast good.
Only one functioning socket of only 2 in the room. Sink too small and almost unusable. Bathroom light flashing. Soundproofing poor. Overall from both the appearance from the outside and the internal decor, the hotel was tired.
Clean close to everything
Nothing
