The Buena Park Grand Hotel & Suites

The hotel and rooms are very dated and not up to par for a Marriott property. Also, the book was supposed to include breakfast with the room, and there was no breakfast at the property.

The Free Breakfast that was advertised was not available, I was told by the front desk that it was booking.com fault for not updating the listing as they don't offer breakfast.

Many sections of this hotel have not been used in years, not sure how the have an occupancy permit considering its current state. Photo's on booking site are at least 20 years old. Probably a good thing we didn't eat breakfast here as it wasn't clean.

When we arrived, we were informed that the water would be shut off the next morning from 10am till 5pm.

In the room, the lights didn't work as they were in a dead outlet. The kitchenette sink had no running water.

The hot tub had exposed electrical wiring at the shut off switch and the timer did not work for the jets.

The beds were a queen size mattress on a double size bed frame. So, if you rolled over near the edge were it was slanted you ended up on the floor.

No tv in the living room elevators that don’t work one ice machine on the third floor. Bedroom floor was uneven so all the doors stayed open. No ironing board. Pillows and bed were very uncomfortable

Nothing like what the online pictures showed, the property was not kept up, the room was very dusty, phone broken, doors to other rooms were broken, and the bathroom door was crooked

The pictures and amenities were outdated. The property had overgrown vegetation, which resulted in a lot of bugs. There was no breakfast, as described. There was no phone in the room, the front door had some broken wooden slats, so they wouldn't close all the way, and the shower curtain rod wasn't fully secured to the shower walls.

Property old and run downed. Smells. Rooms are dirty. Breakfast is NOT included. False advertisement. outlets in rooms didn’t work. Lights didn’t work. Drapes were torn and ripped.
Would never stay there again.

Staff is very unprofessional
Room keys don't work, they charge your card and don't give you receipts. Manager needs to be fired never at facility. Locked me out of my room for 4 hours . Will never return and will let my friends know how bad of a place. Spend a little more and go somewhere decent. This place is a dumb. People from the streets walking around all night no security. Place is a joke

Not kept up at all. Spider webs and daddy long legs all over the property and in the room

When arriving to the room, there were no towels or linens, the blinds on the door were all broken so once we received linens we had to hang a sheet on the door so we could have privacy from others walking by in the hallway. The drawers on the dresser in the bedroom would not stay closed. The shower would not put out hot water for a bath or shower. The pool was freezing and the hot tub was barely warm and not working.

During our 6 day stay our room was not made up for the first three days, despite me asking staff each morning to have the room serviced. The safe and lighting didn’t work, again not attended to. On night 3 the toilet broke, no maintenance staff after hours. Staff then moved us to another room, in which the floor had sunk so that all the draws opened constantly. In the six nights there housekeeping only did the service one day and that was only after I complained again.

Other than that and that the Spa had exposed electrical wires on the safety shut off, some of the staff tried, but with managers who didnt show up for days, there was only so much they could do.

Water from the shower is cold. Also it said on my booking that free breakfast is included but learned that the hotel doesn’t do meal accommodations as they don’t have restaurant inside the hotel premises.

The air conditioning was not cooling the bedroom like it was cooling the living area.

Filthy, this place caters to party people who play music all night. The phone in the room doesn't work I had to walk from 4th floor to lobby at midnight just for the manager to be rude and ask ME what he should do about it. Offered to switch me rooms but my kids were asleep and it was past midnight. After my second complaint in person the so called night manager knocked on the people's door but that did nothing. Paid over 800$ for a Disney trip for the family and got 2 hours of sleep. Asked him for a discount and he said it sounded like I was "trying to get something out of it" well obviously I couldn't get my sleep back I was just asking for an apology or a simple 50 dollars off the 200$ stay which was the worst experience I've had staying away from home. And I've had some bad stays. Sticky floor. Bugs. Drawers dont close. No continental breakfast as advertised on THIS SITE. Phone doesn't work in room. Noone ever picks up the phone day or night when you call from the phone. -10 take this place off your site.
