Not one of my better/average experiences at a Double Tree.
Pros:

1. The cookies, of course.
2. My suite was spacious, w/microwave, mini-fridge, safe, & standard suite attire.
3. The bed was comfortable.
4. Free parking.
5. Stores & restaurants nearby, and walkable.

Cons:

1. Sadly, I arrived while Nigerian men's soccer teams (from Maryland) were @ the hotel. Upon arrival, I thought I was at a migrant hotel, because there were men hanging out in front of the hotel & all around the lobby area, standing, sitting, eating takeout, and talking loud in Yoruba.
2. The esthetics did not improve as I exited the lobby to my room. What should have been a welcomed view of the interior pool area was overcrowded with about 20-25 more loud talking, alcohol drinking, marijuana smoking (not all, but definitely some), music playing enthusiast 🙄.
3. I didn't sit in the front half of my suite, because most of the time I could smell the weed (marijuana).
4. About 18 hours a day, the noise was nonstop.
5. Old architecture/floor plan.
6. Balcony connects several rooms (While I was away, someone decided to use my part of the balcony and left their beer cans as a souvenir for me.)
7. Joint balcony may also double as a clothes line.
8. Tube/ shower drains slowly.
9. Carpet needs replacing.
In short... No one enforced quite hours for the benefit of the rest of the hotel guest. ☹️ The pool would have been kid friendly, but I prefer my kids not play around boisterous adults, drinking & smoking marijuana. Maybe management was focused on the $ instead of the standards of comfort for everyone.

Très déçu de la réalité de l'hôtel par rapport à l'annonce
Cons:

La localisation de l'hôtel est très excentré par rapport au centre-ville, et la qualité de l'hôtel est très décevante par rapport au prix d'une nuit… Il s'agit plus d'un motel que l'on voit dans les films américains, plutôt que dans un hôtel qui se rapproche vraiment du Hilton! La propreté laisse à désirer, j'ai trouvé des cheveux dans la baignoire, qui étaient en fait beaucoup plus un sabot qu'une baignoire ! La chambre sert est grande, mais la salle de bain est composée de sabot baignoire, d'un toilette, le lavabo et le reste de la salle de bain est à l'extérieur dans la chambre en fait.
