Hyatt Regency Coral Gables in Miami

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Coral Gables for a business trip, and the experience exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, the front desk set a welcoming one. Check-in was fast and seamless, which was much appreciated after a long travel day.

I was fortunate to receive a room upgrade. The room was pristine. The property itself is beautiful. The Mediterranean Revival architecture—inspired by Spain’s Alhambra Palace—gives the hotel a distinctive elegance compared to standard corporate properties.

The location is ideal for business travelers. It is only about a 15-minute drive from Miami International Airport, yet situated in a quiet, safe, and walkable area just two blocks from Miracle Mile.

I will definitely return to the Hyatt Regency Coral Gables on my next business trip to the area. Highly recommended!

Spacious, clean rooms, great location, friendly staff, great outdoor pool area. Plenty of great dining and drink places to walk to. Perfect location for me to go for a run around shaded, safe neighborhoods.

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Coral Gables for two nights before our flight home from Miami Airport. The airport is close by and easily reached by car, which was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel.

We had a terrace suite with direct access to the outdoor pool area from our own terrace, which was really convenient. It was nice to be able to just walk straight from our room to the pool without having to go through the hotel.

We asked for an additional bed for our child, which was added to the room free of charge and without any issues.

For parking we used the valet service, which worked very well. You can simply send a message when you need your car and every time we used it, the car was already waiting for us by the time we came down from our room.

We didn’t really use many of the other hotel facilities besides the pool, so can’t comment much on those.

The area immediately around the hotel feels a bit business-like rather than particularly vibrant, and the hotel itself also seemed to have quite a few business guests. That said, there are plenty of good options for food and drinks within walking distance. We can definitely recommend Bay 13, right across the street, for some nice food and beers.

Breakfast was good, although not nearly as extensive as the breakfast we had at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress earlier during our trip. Because of that it felt a little disappointing to us, but to be fair, compared to most hotel breakfasts it was still very good.

Overall, a very comfortable stay and a convenient choice if you’re looking for a nice hotel within easy reach of Miami Airport.

Lovely, inviting property with attentive, interested staff wanting to make our visit very pleasant. Great location near quality restaurants.

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Coral Gables from July 30 through August 6, 2026, and my experience was exceptional from beginning to end.

The hotel is beautifully situated in Coral Gables, in an area that I found very pleasant for walking and exploring. The property itself is impressive—beautiful both inside and out—with an elegant, welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.

I stayed in a Pure Wellness room, which made a tremendous difference in my comfort. My room was exceptionally clean, fresh and well maintained. After encountering significant cleanliness issues at other hotels during my work assignment, arriving at the Hyatt Regency Coral Gables and finding such a carefully maintained environment was particularly meaningful to me.

In fact, cleanliness throughout the entire property deserves special recognition. It was not limited to my guest room. The lobby, hallways, restrooms throughout the hotel, gym, pool area and other common spaces were consistently clean and well maintained. Maintaining that level of cleanliness throughout a property of this size requires excellent standards, attention to detail and strong management.

My housekeeper, Lila, was exceptional; professional, warm, attentive and trustworthy. I accidentally left jewelry in a drawer after checking out, and she safeguarded it for me. That meant a great deal to me, and I am extremely grateful to her.

The service throughout my stay was equally impressive. From the front desk staff to housekeeping, valet and the many employees I encountered around the property, everyone was courteous, helpful and professional. Jesus also deserves special recognition for making sure I had fresh yogurt and chia pudding to go. It is precisely these thoughtful, personal gestures that elevate a hotel stay from simply good to genuinely memorable.

I also appreciated the hotel’s amenities. The gym and pool were both very well maintained. I visited the Market out of curiosity and, although I did not purchase anything, I was impressed by the selection of snacks and other convenient items available. I also noticed a microwave for guests, which I thought was an especially practical and thoughtful touch.

Another detail I loved was the complimentary fruit- and vegetable-infused water in the lobby every day, along with pastries for guests. During the intense Miami summer heat, having cold, refreshing infused water readily available was an excellent idea and another example of the hotel’s attention to guests’ comfort.

Breakfast was another highlight. I especially loved the fresh yogurt and homemade granola. That granola was so delicious that I am still thinking about it! I sincerely wish the hotel would package it and sell it in the Market because I would absolutely buy it and take it home.

I also visited Bar 50, where I had drinks and the pineapple pudding. Both were delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed them.

Despite the size and activity of the hotel, my room was comfortable and conducive to rest, and I did not experience any significant noise issues.

As for value, I believe value is about much more than the room rate, it is about the total experience received in return. Between the location, quality of the room, exceptional cleanliness, amenities and, above all, the consistently high level of service and care, I felt that my stay offered excellent value.

What impressed me most was the consistency. It is one thing for a hotel to have a clean room or one outstanding employee; it is another for high standards to be evident throughout an entire property and across so many different departments. That kind of consistency does not happen by accident.

I understand that the hotel is transitioning to new management, and I sincerely hope the new management team preserves these standards. Mr. Mario Terran has my utmost respect for the exceptional level of management, cleanliness, service, and attention to detail evident throughout the Hyatt Regency Coral Gables. His leadership is clearly reflected in the impeccable condition of the property, the consistency of the guest experience, and, above all, the professionalism, warmth, and dedication of the staff.

The Hyatt Regency Coral Gables provided me with one of those hotel experiences that I will genuinely remember. I would gladly stay here again and recommend this property without hesitation.

Location is very good and infrastructure is nice. Valet service is rather slow and very expensive, and on the registration for valet they ask you for your credit card even when charging service to the room. They also have this mysterious resort fee or e to whatever it's called, which is really a surcharge although they offer you some "rebates", but they are charging for the Internet, really...? In 2026 a upscale hotel charging for Internet access???? Overall you need to add over $100 per night to whatever rate you are quoted for your stay at this hotel.

Rooms nice and service good. However cell service is terrible which would be fine if WiFi was even halfway decent. But it’s terrible - in and out constantly. Not sure how they host business events or even people traveling for business. No way to participate in meetings or even consistently download email.

Honestly everything went perfect, checkin, rooms, breakfast, food, service, cleaning, valet parking, etc. All employees, no exception, had great service attitude, always diligent and always smiling. A hotel to come back again!

From check in to check out everything was perfect!!!! The rooms were very clean, breakfast was delicious and customer service was top notch!
