Beautiful hotel in a great area!
Pros:

This is a beautiful property. The building looks historic and is full of charm, but it is in great condition.

The Coral Gables neighborhood is very charming, especially the area surrounding the hotel. It is full of great restaurants and cafes within walking distance. It is also close enough to the airport and most of the points of interest in Miami.

The staff was great! They made us feel very welcome and anticipated all our needs.

I would really recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Miami.

Great location, beautiful hotel, warm and welcoming staff
Pros:

Hyatt Regency Coral Gables in a wonderful hotel in a walkable area with many good restaurants close by. The pool is relaxing and the water temperature was perfect. Staff at this hotel were all helpful and friendly. We stayed in the terrace suite that had glass doors leading to a long balcony that overlooked the pool area. It was a wonderful suite that provided plenty of space.

OK for a day or two, but a tired hotel that needs updating.
Pros:

Good location and efficient service.

Cons:

In a 1970 time warp. Dark rooms with little lighting. Bathroom with shower curtain over bath, no heated towel rail.

Pros:

Location was perfect. Housekeeping was great.

Cons:

The service elevator was always broken. I had to report it everyday. Very frustrating.
Also room looked very dingy and outdated. Needs updating.

Nice Stay
Pros:

The Hyatt Regency Coral Gables was a great comfortable stay. The Terrace Suite was very nice. The breakfast buffet was bountiful and it included made to order omelets. The pool area was very relaxing. Very convenient area with lots of restaurants within a short walking distance.

Terrible service
Pros:

I’ve stayed here many times between 2024 and now. But this past time was so bad I had to leave early. First the shower did not properly drain at all, and maintenance never fixed it the first time so for 2 days I had to shower is over 2 inches of water. Then I lost WiFi for over 5 hours with no resolution from the front desk. The hot tub jets were also broken. The manager and front desk guy were so extremely rude to me that I ended up leaving in tears. Probably the worst experience I’ve ever had with Hotel staff

Pros:

Todo muy bueno, servicio del personal muy cordial. Habitación y baño impecable. Desayuno muy bueno. Servicio de parking muy expedito.

Cons:

Servicio de parking del Hyatt implemento cobro extra a los SUV que creo que es abusivo y echa a perder el concepto de servicio de Hyatt. Cobrar este extra no tiene justificación y se siente como una manera de cobrar mas de parte del subcontrato que tomó Hyatt con el operador del parking.
