Cons:

The room was not as expected. A whole couch was missing. Don’t plan on having company visit while you’re there, no where for anyone to sit. Room furniture is old and peeling.

Overall, a disappointing stay due to consistently unprofessional service.

It was close to the office I was working at

Cons:

Several aspects of the room fell below an acceptable standard, as the shower produced only a minimal stream of water, the bedframe was broken, and there was a large visible stain on the couch. I did not raise these issues during my stay because, based on the tone of service I had already experienced, it felt as though doing so would have been more of a hassle than anything else. The parking situation was also very frustrating, as on two of the three evenings when I had plans to visit family, I was strongly advised not to leave since I would likely not have a parking space upon my return. When I attempted to ask about parking time limits on Tuesday afternoon around 4:00 PM, I was interrupted and again told, rather abruptly, that it was strongly recommended I not leave. The most disappointing aspect of my stay was the level of service at reception, as while a few staff members were pleasant, most interactions were abrasive and unprofessional. After returning home, I called to request my invoice and was told, dismissively, that because I booked through Booking.com, the hotel did not have it, however Booking.com confirmed that the hotel is responsible for issuing invoices. When I called back, the receptionist responded with a poor attitude and said he would send me whatever he had, which ultimately was the correct invoice, something that could have been resolved during the first call with a more attentive approach. I have over 15 years of experience in hospitality, including in both small establishments and luxury hotels, and based on that experience I have rarely encountered such unprofessional service. Given this experience, I will not be returning to this location.

Great place to stay for events at the arena or downtown
Pros:

The location for attending events at Roger’s place is great you can walk all the way there without going outside

Cons:

With most downtowns there are a few not so nice people in the area. The bed was not very comfortable could feel the springs.
