A good stay
Pros:

The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were fabulous. The room was clean. The bathroom was clean and has been updated (I do not like dirty unkept bathrooms). I loved the chaise lounge in the room. The walkways to the conference center were very handy.

Cons:

I arrived late, I had to extra pay for non-hotel parking. Did I miss that I could have pre-booked parking? If I did, that is my fault, however pre-booking parking would have helped. While I brought a charging cable for my phone, I did not bring a plug. The hotels that I have stayed in the last few years have lamps with USB ports-I had to go out and try to find a wall plug in with a USB port. The sound on the TV was horrible. The cabinet that the fridge was in was broken and the fridge froze the items that I put inside. The window covering looked like they had water or sun damage. I walked from the hotel to the Conference Center, the number of homeless people on the way to my destination was disturbing and made me feel unsafe.

Perfect location if your going to a hockey game or Roger's place.

Cons:

Sketchy area, restaurant closes at 11 pm on a Saturday night. Expensive rate plus Expensive parking

Pros:

We were in Edmonton for an Oilers game, and the hotel was only a short walk from Saddledome. You can use the "pedways" to travel between buildings without going outside which was nice considering it was only 14F outside. The room was nice and met expectations.

Cons:

Unfortunately, there were some loud people down the hall from us, but that isn't the hotel's fault. Other than that, we had no complaints.
