Pros:

If you need to be close the the central train station the location is very convenient

Cons:

Just a very average hotel overall. The rooms are very different from the pictures. The junior suite that I had booked was a far cry from what I expected. To be fair they did upgrade me to a regular suite free and of charge but even that was terribly disappointing. There is no shower cubicle in the suite, only the tub. They don't keep a wine bottle opener in the room becuase they tend to get stolen! The upholstery and decor is drab at best. It is a very ordinary, dull hotel pretending to be somewhat special. Will not book here again. Absolutely no charm whatsoever.

Sehr tolles Hotel mit ebenso tollem Personal! Wenn die Ausrichtung des Zimmers entsprechend berücksichtigt werden kann,
Pros:

Die Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter des Hotels waren jederzeit ausgesprochen freundlich und bemüht uns einen ausgezeichneten Aufenthalt zu bescheren! Ob an der Rezeption, beim Frühstück oder an der Bar - wir haben ausschließlich sehr positive Erfahrungen gemacht und uns jederzeit sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Das hoteleigene Gym ist sehr gut ausgestattet! Die Lage der Unterkunft war für uns optimal. In direkter Nähe zur amsterdamer Centraal Station mit der Anbindung an alle öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. Gleichzeitig hat man hier einen idealen Ausgangspunkt um die wunderschöne Stadt zu erkunden.

Cons:

Die Ausrichtung unseres Zimmers mit historischer Front (und damit verbunden nur einfach verglaste Fenster), hatte zur Folge, dass es nachts nicht leise genug war. Ohne Gehörschutz findet man keinen erholsamen Schlaf.
Die besondere Architektur unter dem Dach, erlaubt es wohl nicht die Sichtbalken entstaubt und sauber zu halten. Die Sauna, die einer der Gründe war, weshalb wir uns für diese Unterkunft entschieden hatten, war zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthalts bedauerlicherweise defekt.

Great location and a beautiful hotel

Cons:

None of the spa facilities was working and that was one of the reasons we booked. This hotel wants to use them and unfortunately we couldn’t.

Pros:

Great location. Comfortable and quiet room despite looking out over the street. Good breakfast and staff all very pleasant

Cons:

Slightly hot and miss service in the bar late one evening but really nothing major just took a whole to get served and it felt like one staff member wasn't quite "on it". But they were still nice and the wine selection in the bar was much better than nearby bars!
