Close to downtown and the marketplace
No refrigerator, no microwave, no extra toiletries, bar was less than impressive….
El hotel es fabuloso y la habitación muy confortable
El precio
The room was comfortable but a little worn. Ok the lamp shade had a hole in it but the bed and pillows were comfortable. We had room in the back view to North End so it was quite. Breakfast was a bit strange as you get ''credit' in the lobby restaurant and it was a menu not buffet. Breakfast was fine though.
Check-in prior from their email made it breeze and all you had to do was get the room key. Checkout was the same but we checked out for an early flight but the day before it seem everyone liked to check out right at noon with one elevator working. I'd recommend not wait until noon.
The coffee machine in the lobby. We thought it was complementary coffee but no, you had to pay for the coffee. This was a bit tacky not only for the price point of this hotel but then to charge for the coffee. Really?
Of course, the location is superb. The room was acceptable. The front desk staff was abysmal, save for one. Unfortunately, I don't remember his name, but he was a young black man with dreds, He was superb. The remainder of the staff were acceptable to downright rude.
Very central and the best location to explore downtown Boston.
Room is showing its age.
Can be loud.
Location is great.
Room smelled like cigarettes, only decaf coffee in my room, dated decor and room needed a deep cleaning
Absolutely nothing
Everything: building to staff
Location excellent right across from
Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market. Concierge and Bell Boys fantastic and helpful. Front desk not the most welcoming to be honest. Maybe just the two I dealt with. Ordered us a taxi. Took care of our luggage great service from them. Housekeeping was good. Very clean. Andy and Juan great.
First room we were given was dreadful overlooking a skip full of rubbish when I had been told we were being given a room with a Juliet balcony. There was no balcony. I went straight to reception and was given another room. Somewhat begrudgingly it seemed and no apology.
However Juan was wonderful and moved all our luggage over. A lovely smiley gentleman who had been there 35 yrs. well done Juan. Great service.
This hotel seriously needs an uplift. We stayed 2 weeks in USA. Loads of hotels and B&B’s. This was the most expensive (including NYC) and the most shabby.
Ice machine was never working the whole 3 days and as there was no fridge we couldn’t even get a cold beer or water. TV didn’t work first 2 days. Had to ask someone to sort.
No turndown service offered. Had to ask on day 2. No complimentary water. Just a water dispenser in reception and paper cups.
Torn sheets. Torn curtains. Really shabby for such an expensive stay. We were given a highlighted sheet of paper detailing an extra 30 dollars charge per day for a prime location fee…. What ? As it turned out we don’t seem to have been charged that.
My husband asked for a newspaper The Boston Globe… would that be possible the next morning… receptionist said yes. When we asked for the paper we were told no they don’t provide them. Basically we felt ripped off. Almost 900 dollars for 3 nights and the bed wasn’t even that comfy!
Location was really good, such a beautiful city! The room was clean and the staff were nice. There are plenty of bars and restaurants around and some really lovely walking places.
To reiterate - the hotel was clean, the staff were nice, so the rest of this does not reflect on the staff of the hotel.
The "view" in the room was awful, two small horizontal windows at the top of the wall looking onto the roof? (we were floor 2) and what Im guessing were the AC vents, more vents on the roof so there was a constant buzzing and loud humming, the gym / exercise room was next door and someone was always in there smacking a medicine ball against the wall or floor at 6AM, safe to say I didnt get a wink of sleep - we were only there for a few nights and I didnt want to kick up a fuss over it, but that alone wouldnt make me recommend the stay there unless you specifically request a room somewhere quieter. Also, the breakfast that was included in our stay was very subpar.... when the ladies first came with the reciept for us to pay (despite me saying to them that our breakfast is included in our stay and offered the room number, they still brought the machine to pay?) - an "american breakfast" and for a waffle with some fruit, tea and coffee that was made and left on the side forgotten until we asked again cost over $77?? Very inflated price for the quality of food that was served. Id recommend to get a nicer breakfast somewhere else, plenty of eateries around.
The staff at the front desk had a bad attitude and were impatient when asked too many questions. The hotel had no Wi-Fi. When I called to consult with the front desk, no one answered. The faucet didn't have hot water. There were flies in the room. The equipment was old and dirty. When I was in front of Quincy Market, the road construction was very noisy and the noise control was poor. I won't come here again.
The employees need training, and the customer-oriented service philosophy is not felt in this hotel.

Location was great, the hotel was comfortable and clean.
Rummet var rymligt och fint.
Location of the property was great
Bathroom shower was absolutely disgusting on the floor slippery slimy mold. The amenities in the room were terrible. Ice machine was broken and there was fight that broke out downstairs in the restaurant. Not sure if it was a private party , that migrated its way into the bottom floor of the hotel by the elevators was scared for my life photos of the bathroom floor that hadn’t been cleaned in forever below
