A Pet Friendly Hotel That Feels Like Home
We welcome everyone at The Bostonian Hotel, including your four-legged family members. Our pet friendly hotel in heart of Boston welcomes your pets with additional accommodations including water bowls and toys, as well as proximity to the Green Way for walks and fresh air through the city. The Bostonian allows leashed dogs throughout the hotel public areas, with the exception of our restaurants and the Fitness Center. For guests who have allergies, The Bostonian also offers designated pet-free floors. We offer packages included doggy bags, treats, dog beds, water and food bowls.
Pet Policy
We ask that your pets occupy the same room, weigh less than 25 pounds and are not left in the room unsupervised. If your pet needs to be left in the room unsupervised it must be crated in case staff members need to enter the room in the event of an emergency. Upon arrival, guests will be charged a nonrefundable $75 pet fee. Additional cleaning fees may result if Housekeeping deems it necessary. Pets are not allowed in the restaurant, fitness center, or meeting space. Failure to comply with the Hotel Pet Policy may result in being asked to leave without refund.
Service animals are welcome at the hotel and throughout the conference areas regardless of breed. If your service animal requires special conditions, please speak with our Front Desk or call 617-523-3600 prior to your arrival.

The location is awesome for all the sites we like to visit. The lobby is beautiful and the staff is very helpful.
We've stayed at the Bostonian several times and were told that the rooms were being updated but the room we stayed in had not been. Nothing has been changed.

Nice sized room. Comfortable bed. Ideal location for the historic area of the city.
For a high end expensive hotel I was disappointed. No fridge in the room, no (as advertised) mini bar and no water provided in the rooms. My room was only attended to once during my 3 night stay. I could also hear toilets in other rooms being flushed all the time so they need to take a look at their plumbing.

The hotel was very clean. The staff was super friendly. Everyone was willing to bend over backwards to make sure that every guest was happy with the service of the staff. There are several attractions within walking distance. The valet had umbrellas to loan out during the rainy days.

Room amenities were hit and miss. One room had a working fridge and the second room fridge did not work. one room didn't have a shower mat and leaked and the second room bathroom was great.

Location is great, walking distance to many experiences in Boston. But look at the response to what I didn't like.
Location is great. However the proximity to Faneuil Hall is a double edged sword. It is great to be so close to so many Boston experiences. But the nights we stayed, there were musical performances on Faneuil Hall. One night until 3am. The windows in the hotel are not noise dampening and getting sleep is difficult for light sleepers. I understand if the performance goes into the night, 1am ok, 2am ok, but 3am is unacceptable.

Perfect location for touring the city. Nice room although on a busy street with a lot of traffic noise.
Public areas are very dimly lit; we found this did not create a great ambience. No bottled water in the room which for $400+ dollars a night (without breakfast) is really penny pinching. Slightly off smell from the shower curtain. Shaving and dental kits available but you have to ask from reception.
