The Langham, Boston

The hotel was lovely, however the service was terrible. I booked a special dinner at their premier restaurant. The waiter took over 40 minutes to bring menu's, food took 2 hours to be delivered, then was cold and undercooked. The check took another 45 minutes to bring, eventually having to go to the hostess twice for the check. Upon leaving it was past 10:30pm where we had to order room service due to medical necessity of managing blood sugars. Room service did not have basic items, and charged excessive fees.

We stayed one night prior to vacation departure. This is a lovely hotel; room was elegant and comfortable. We booked through AMEX FHR and were upgraded on arrival. Dinner at the FED was fantastic. Unfortunately, we checked out early to catch a flight so were unable to experience breakfast at Grana. Staff was friendly and attentive. The airport was a quick Uber away.

We stayed at The Langham, Boston to celebrate our 1-year wedding anniversary, and it truly exceeded our expectations. From arrival to check-out, the hospitality was exceptional: warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. The room was beautifully prepared, and the surprises arranged for our anniversary made the experience feel special and personal.

Everything was seamless, comfortable, and polished, with the level of service you hope for in a top luxury 5-star hotel. We left feeling grateful (and sad to leave) and already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Boston, especially for a special occasion.

They went above and beyond to make the room absolutely beautiful and so welcoming, with the sweetest personal touches that made our stay feel extra special.

Kim and Jenna especially deserve all the praise. They were absolutely incredible — warm, professional, and dedicated to making sure everything was perfect. Their attention to detail and kindness made such a lasting impression.

I joined my husband on his recent business trip to Boston. When he said he was booked at the Langham I was in! It did not disappoint. It was cold outside but everything in the Langham was warm, elegant and inviting. The room was spacious and had everything we could need. The breakfast each morning in their restaurant Grana was such a great beginning to each day - big hello and thanks to Sandra at Grana for the hospitality. The location of the Langham was ideal, less than a mile from Seaport, Beacon Hill and Fanuel Hall.

If you are looking for a modern, luxury hotel in Boston with great service then you should definitely stay here. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We stayed in a bi-level family suite and it was a really fun experience. The hotel is located close to the seaport for good dining options but also has two nice restaurants on property. Something unique that set this hotel apart from others was that they have an attendant come to the room to make the sofa bed ready for sleeping. They put an extra mattress topper on the sofa mattress with a clean mattress protector and a fresh sheet and comforter. The sleep sofa was transformed into what seemed to be a regular queen sized bed that was as comfortable as a regular hotel bed. We Have been to many hotels including Ritz Carlton’s that have never had this level of service. This is a huge selling point for those of you who have booked rooms with sleeper sofas and have had nightmare experiences with thin caved in mattresses with metal bars sticking into your back. Well done to Langham management for providing this to ensure our sleep was comfortable.

Our first stay at the Langham was nothing short of perfect. From check in (thank you, Rachelle) to check out, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay or service. Valet was seamless, our room was beautiful and spotless. Bed was plush and luxurious. Dinner at The Fed was delicious, and our server Gianna was phenomenal. We had room service breakfast the next morning, and it was also amazing: delicious, hot, and presented beautifully. We had a delightful stay and will be back next month!

This hotel is my go-to-hotel for luxury in Boston! The service here is stellar. The rooms are beautifully appointed, impeccably maintained. When you enter the lobby you can feel the difference. It's truly a delight. The scent is fantastic. The fresh flowers are a visual delight to your eyes. It's my go to for friends and clients too.

Although I have not completed my stay yet, I wanted to write a review to say how great my booking experience was. I worked with Da’ryl, I had a minor problem, and I cannot even begin to explain how easy she made this experience. She was courteous, kind, understanding and professional beyond words. If there were more people like her, the world would be a better place.. the Langham is blessed to have an employee like this representing them!
