The staff was wonderful. Jenna and Salim at the front desk were so kind and helpful. Amwar at the concierge desk was helpful and went above and beyond. Shina a the Fed restaurant was very attentive and wonderful.
The toilet paper could use an upgrade.
Room was lovely - I was in room 345 in front of the gym. This wasn't an issue for me bc I wake up early but I could hear noise from the hallway. It wouldn't be good for people wanting to sleep in. Gym facilities are great and the bar / drinks phenomenal. I don't remember my server on Sun pm but she was extremely knowledgeable - give her a raise.
The line to the breakfast was way too long. I should've ordered to my room (although the breakfast was wonderful and once I was seated, the food came quickly). On the last day I didn't have much time and the line had maybe 15 people in line (!) so the front desk was kind and reimbursed me for the prepaid breakfast.
The hotel was great but a bit overpriced especially with the food. The staff was friendly and professional. The bed and turn down service was amazing
By far the best accommodation in Boston. Service is impeccable, comfort is the best there is. You cannot go wrong here!
Overall, the Langham exceeded our expectations. The staff on-site were kind and welcoming, and the room was well-kept and comfortable. We enjoyed the quiet location, which was a short walk from Boston’s top spots.
Our anniversary stay at The Langham, Boston was exceptional. The thoughtful anniversary amenity in our room and the warmth of the entire team made the experience unforgettable. A special thank you to Vanessa at the Club Lounge, Marwan from Concierge, George at the Front Desk, and Jenna the Guest Relations and Concierge Manager, for their outstanding hospitality. Every interaction reflected the care and professionalism of the Langham team. We truly felt welcomed and cannot wait to return.
Beautiful, classic hotel with nice ambiance. I only stayed here for one night while on business but I look forward to returning for a longer stay.
Room, bathroom, amenities were top-notch. Service was impeccable. Dinner at The FED, and room service breakfast were delicious.
I didn’t use the gym or pool but they looked nice.
An excellent choice in downtown Boston that I will visit again.
A great hotel. The room finishes are perfect. So many hotels try to skimp on finishes and the Langham in Boston does not. Beds and sheets were great. Restaurants were great and service perfect.
Amazing place to stay in the city. Rooms are modern, staff is extremely helpful, and the food/drinks at the Fed were exceptional!
Easy in check and check out, the drinks were great and breakfast was perfect so happy to stay here for a night everything was clean and perfect
Better good night servis
Quite simply an outstanding hotel - the building, the rooms, the front desk staff, the dining staff, you name it. There is such pride exuded by all staff at the hotel, and it is an entirely warranted.
This is a fantastic hotel in the heart of Boston. It's an easy walking distance to Boston Common, the state capitol building, the Freedom Trail, Quincy Market, etc. The service at the hotel is impeccable. We used our American Express Platinum Fine Hotels & Resorts credit here, and it was an excellent use of that credit card perk. The complementary breakfast at Grana was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. Really an excellent property with superb staff. I'd stay here again for sure.
Never has a hotel gone to such lengths to ensure that I can eat not a meal but a meal that is specifically catered to me as a high quality meal. Chef Daniel prepared me a special menu after asking what I liked to eat and then executed it perfectly. From the pancakes with the blueberry compote that tasted as fancy (and yummy) as is the hotel to the Chilean Sea Bass and the karhai chicken that was finger licking good. Yes, he made me karhai chicken from HALAL CHICKEN he and Tom located in a day for my stay. THAT'S how great this hotel is. They accommodated my every need.
The staff is phenomenal. I have never been so relaxed eating as I have been here. No mistakes. No accidentally allergens in my meals. Everything made to perfection.
The housekeeping staff (Lauren, Signey), the front desk (Tom, Michael, George, Rachelle) and everyone else has been top notch. Caring for my every need and going the extra mile to ensure I am comfortable.
The hotel rooms are spotless and Chef Daniel went the extra mile to share with me its fascinating history (it was the former Federal Reserve Bank in Boston).
The beds are extremely comfortable, the rooms are lovely and I've enjoyed pampering myself while stuck in Boston during this Nor'Easter.
Thank you to everyone at The Langham Boston for making my stay exceptional including all the people who I'm sure I've forgotten to include in this review. They will be included in the email to the head manager. Truly grateful!
The hotel was lovely, however the service was terrible. I booked a special dinner at their premier restaurant. The waiter took over 40 minutes to bring menu's, food took 2 hours to be delivered, then was cold and undercooked. The check took another 45 minutes to bring, eventually having to go to the hostess twice for the check. Upon leaving it was past 10:30pm where we had to order room service due to medical necessity of managing blood sugars. Room service did not have basic items, and charged excessive fees.
Pros:
Sauna
Hot tub
Cons:
Unclear communication
Rowdy wedding guests resulting in fire alarm
Locker rooms
