Breakfast was a big plus at this hotel, fresh cooked eggs are included in the breakfast buffet and you can even order omelettes as well also included in the breakfast buffet. There was a good selection of bread, juice, pastries, and cooked foods such as sausages, baked beans, potatoes and hash browns as well as a cold deli with a decent variety of options
We initially booked a room without a view but upon arrival we decided to upgrade to a room with a view. The rooms with a view have an excellent view of the water and harbour activities and is great to look at both at daytime and at night. The upgraded room also had a balcony and while the balcony is small it is quite nice to step outside and enjoy the air and the view
The spa facilities are also decent. With the large swimming pool being the highlight. Unlike some other hotels a big plus here is that if you are a guest at the hotel you do not need to pre-book into a swimming time slot so you just show up when you want. In our case the pool was quite empty when we used it
Not sure if included in all rooms but there was a nice surprise of some free water bottles and wine bottles waiting for us in the rooms and the upgraded room also came with drink vouchers for at the hotel bar as well
The parking is super convenient, basically right next to the hotel, about a minute or two walk away is a large outdoor parking that is just for the hotel and while they say first-come-first-serve basis it seems like it is plenty large to basically never be full, perhaps certain events in the city might mean it is fully booked out for the day and thus why they put that disclaimer as the parking can also be used by people who aren't guests as long as they pay for it as well
The parking is also not free for guests and was paid at a flat day rate
Staff were all very friendly and the rooms were spacious and comfortable.
The negatives for us was that the bathrooms were a bit rundown and are in need of refurbishing. They are functional and not dirty or anything but the main issue is just that the shower pressure is very low and the fittings are damaged and while the rooms are in great condition the bathrooms just felt a bit rundown at least the shower/tub area. The rest of the bathroom was immaculate

Location, walking distance to cruise terminal
Property decaying, bathroom tub had open holes that were gathering mold, that could have easily been caulked. We had a bath towel with a hole in it. Laundry provider lacks any kind of quality control, in turn reflects very poorly on the facility!
Great place, very spacious, good gym lots of gym equipment. Rooms big and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful, Breakfast is outstanding wide choice of food available.
Prices of food and drink
Close to both the railway station and cruise terminal, both of which we needed for our trip, very friendly and helpful staff and a plentiful breakfast. Didn't get to use the pool this time, but will be back again
Shower temperature control was erratic, crept up to scalding hot, at which point I had to abandon using it for fear of being burnt, not a major problem, and the maintenance team fixed it quickly
Close to cruise ship terminal and coach station. Hotel described presence of air conditioning but room temperature was 29c and did not reduce all evening despite hotel staff saying it the ac working. Very bad sleep using fan wet towels and opening windows since it was colder outside. At 3 am the outside temperature dropped to allow some sleep at 26 c. Understanding we are in a heat wave we expected some cooling in the room. The morning staff were very pleasant and efficient arranging a taxi that came on time.

We had evening meal in the restaurant. But the noice coming from a function up above was terrible . I did complain. As when your having a meal it should be enjoyed.
