Central but that’s all
Pros:

Front of house are really lovely and friendly and the hotel is perfectly located in Damn Square however that’s all this hotel has going for it.
On check in we were give our room on the 3rd to open the door and find a pigeon greeting us. We then went back down to reception who found it hilarious and then checked us into another room which was quite possibly the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in. It was so dark, the cleaners kept leaving the light on. Probably wouldn’t stay here again due to the fact we didn’t even get any apologise for the pigeon or a complimentary upgrade.

Really enjoyed it
Pros:

Close to everything we needed - the central rail station and the metro. Shops and bars and canal boat cruise stands. Inviting lobby and restaurant attached Royal 98

Cons:

Bathrooms small
Shower inside the bath so difficult getting in and out with osteoarthritis but I ought to have checked this before the stay
