Pros:

Wonderfully welcoming and friendly staff makes you feel like old friends! Beautiful greenery and eco friendly practices. Gorgeous private pier with hammocks and lounge chairs to relax, get a massage, watch the sunset, enjoy the quiet. Fantastic chef - delicious breakfasts, lunches, dinners and the Saturday BBQ is phenomenal!!

Nous avons passé 10 jours dans cet établissement, le personnel très à l'écoute et accommodant, la nourriture excellente avec un choix varié, notre chambre était tout simplement magnifique avec vue sur la mer. Nous avons fait notre certification de plongée sur le site, les instructeurs sont vraiment bien. Le seul bémol, si vous devez sortir du site il vous faut un véhicule car tout est assez loin et les taxis sont assez dispendieux. Un vrai petit paradis à voir absolument merci à toute l'équipe!

Pros:

Fantastic, small resort. Everyone at the place was super helpful and friendly. Close to West End in taxi, but isolated enough it still felt super cozy and quiet.

Pros:

My friend and I flew from Canada and were travelling for two days. We went for supper and both of us assumed that the other one had a key to our room when we got back we discovered that we didn’t have a key and we were locked out and the only person on the property was Security so we contacted him, and he suggested we sleep on a hammock On our porch. Several charges were also applied to our account that we didnt incur.

Tranquilseas is an absolute gem of a boutique resort, offering a unique and intimate experience that’s hard to find elsewhere. Nestled right on the edge of some of the most stunning reefs, it’s a paradise for divers and nature lovers alike. The dive shop is exceptional, with knowledgeable staff who ensure every dive is a memorable adventure.

The on-site Sunkin Fish restaurant, helmed by the incredible Chef Edwin, offers culinary delights that rival the beauty of the surroundings. Every meal was a masterpiece, reflecting the chef’s passion for fresh, local ingredients and creative dishes… and the service is top notch! We also enjoyed many of the uniquely crafted specialty drinks.

But what truly sets Tranquilseas apart is the wonderful team that makes you feel like you’re part of their family. Ellie, the manager, is the heart of the resort, ensuring every guest is well taken care of. Franklin, Rudy, Samir, Ruby, Harry, Cesia, Jan, Denry, Osman, and Mr. Hernandez all contribute to the warm, welcoming atmosphere (there were others, I am sorry I can’t recall their names). Their friendliness and dedication make your stay not just a vacation, but an experience filled with genuine connections and unforgettable moments.

If you’re looking for a serene getaway where you can feel at home while exploring some of the world’s most beautiful underwater landscapes, Tranquilseas is the perfect destination. I can’t recommend it highly enough! We will be back!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was at Tranquilseas. The room was updated, clean and had a lovely view of the ocean and the food was so good we ate almost every meal at the hotel but the most impressive part of our stay was the wonderful staff. All the staff from reception to the restaurant team to the dive center staff were amazing. The team they have assembled is so attentive and goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. I hope to return to this lovely place, with these lovely people soon. I would highly recommend this location.

Property and staff were excellent! The dive instructor Cata was amazing. Great home base for excellent dining at an affordable price and to go on dives or snorkel trips. The reef was spectacular! Outside of the property was dirty, more like a third world location, but didn’t feel unsafe. Good place for a dive retreat.

Tranquilseas is a wonderful small dive resort. The staff from the resort and dive center were very caring and attentive. Our room Tortuga, was clean and comfortable. Loved that we had a cold/hot water filter in our room. Restaurant food was very good, and the open menu included breakfast was excellent. Dive Center is steps from rooms and beach. We enjoyed our Dive Masters and in January we had only 2-6 divers on the boat which was so nice. We like things laid back and this resort really provided that relaxing, easy experience.

Pros:

I can't recommend Tranquilseas enough. The entire staff was amazing and friendly, and having only 9 rooms at the resort, you really get to know and interact with them. The food and drinks were also very good - the breakfast smoothies and lemonades were great. The location is quiet and great for relaxing. The hotel has a recently renovated dock that is great for relaxing or snorkeling. It was very easy to get a taxi for a quick 5 minute drive to the West End. We were able to arrange pickup and drop-off at the airport through the hotel which made everything very easy.

Pros:

There are only 9 rooms at this lodge so it is quiet and very restful. The Sunken Fish Restaurant on site is outstanding food. Some of the best we have ever had in all our travels. No beach, but no worries they have a private dock with a large two-story thatched roof cabana with a great breeze. They have a dive center on site, but they take snorkelers with them as well. That staff is outstanding. If you don’t wanna go out on the dive boat, no worries there’s plenty of tropical fish all around in the area right off the dock. This place deserves the rating my wife and I are giving them. We will definitely be going back, so hopefully you don’t book up all the rooms when we plan on going the next time. 😁

We had unfortunate timing. There was work being done on the pool that was scheduled to be completed prior to our arrival.
The constant construction noise was far from tranquil.
The staff was very understanding and we were fortunate to be refunded, and more fortunate to find a neighboring resort with availability.

Pros:

We stayed in early October and had a wonderful time. Our room was clean and beautifully decorated, just like the pictures show, with views of the ocean from our windows and private balcony. The food was incredible. My favorite was the seafood pasta dinner that I ordered twice. The staff was attentive, honest and super helpful. We dove from their boats with their dive masters twice each day and got to enjoy that gorgeous reef, so much to see underwater in Roatan.
