Nada
My husband and I checked in on Monday, February 23 around 4 o’clock. There were two young women at the front desk. While we were checking in, I specifically asked the clerk for a quiet room. She remarked, “Oh, it will be quiet,” as the other clerk looked at her and they both snickered. Rather than question their laugh, we went up to room 330 and heard and saw the interstate traffic through our window. I realize that the hotel is located on the interstate, but when I asked for something quiet, if no quiet rooms were available, the clerk could have said so and set our expectations. Since we were only staying for one night, we didn’t address it.
In addition to the poor customer service that we received, the shower water temperature was insufficient. The water does not get hot, but at best slightly above lukewarm. Even still, the water temperature was inconsistent. It switched between lukewarm to barely warm, and this is during the winter while it was literally 30° outside. I had to rush to finish my shower. Maybe this is their intention as a means to reduce water.
Finally, there was a crack at the hinge of our door. Thought it is at the top side of the door, it is low enough that a person could actually peer into the room.
Everything else about our visit was fine, but it was completely overshadowed by our experience with the dishonest clerk and the shower’s water temperature.
Location, can walk to downtown
Rooms could have more attention to detail.
Everything
Good location and great breakfast. Clean rooms with plenty of space. Cute indoor pool. It's shaped like a guitar. It needs some plant life around the pool.
I can't think of anything, really.
Nice staff good breakfast
Room was hot. Had to have air-conditioning on and it was still very hot despite 20 degree weather outside
The staff were great. Bobby was fantastic.
The bed was so firm i couldn't sleep, i actually woke up to cramps in my ribcage because the mattress had no give.
The shower knob was broken so it was hard to adjust the temperature.
Only the location
It’s under major reconstruction and looked it. Construction vehicles in the parking lot, the lobby was dark, and we had just driven more than 500 miles. Construction means loud noises, unfamiliar workmen and dusty conditions…we went around the corner to a Holiday Inn
