Everything else - weird staff, Everything Took so much time. We were dining in the dark, the waitres was in hoodie and we could not see her face. Food was average at best. Paying with card was problem, always waiting for the terminal and the staff didnt know how to use it so we set up the payment terminal. Wifi was also problem - staff could not set it up so we again had to solve that. For this price it should be way better for africa.
Nice environment with green garden and quiet. Peaceful and tranquil.
The restaurant personnel need more training. The food in the menu is limited.
The breakfast is very poor.
Beautiful gardens and lovely staff, the bandas are a great place to stay when in Kabarole!
Beautiful gardens. Amazing food!
Nothing
We were a group of 12 made up of Ugandans and British-Ugandans. The staff was great, treating us kindly and accommodating our early starts. We were greeted with warmth. The rooms were clean, toilets working, quiet atmosphere, beautiful gardens and great service. We really appreciated our questions being answered especially those regarding the local Ugandan names for lakes & national parks as we reject the British coloniser’s naming other countries.
The restaurant food is not the best but if you have any vegetarians in the groups. Although the meats were tasty according to those who eat them.
Cleanliness and comfortable
Although it’s stated that WIFI is available, there no wifi in the rooms it’s only at the reception.
Garden was beautiful
The humidity in the room was so bad that the bedding felt wet and uncomfortable. There is no internet signal in the room at all. Every time I want to ask something from the hotel, I have to walk outside to the reception.
There was nothing for breakfast unless I ordered it the day before, and I was never told that.
Beautiful location with lovely gardens. Room was lovely - comfortable beds and good shower. There is a restaurant on site with very good food. Easy parking.
The hotel grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed the views.
The rooms were nicely decorated and very spacious, as well as a balcony.
The breakfast was okay, but I wish we could have been offered local coffee.
You could access the internet from anywhere other than the bar/restaurant. This was a shame, as I am always on the look out for a good hotel room in town that I can work remotely from.
The room didn't have any tea or coffee facilities, which would have been okay if we were provided with water. We didn't like creating so much plastic rubbish to be able to drink water.
The traditional and more local food was much better than some of the Western dishes on offer.
The bar was also very limited in what to drink.
Everything was clean plus hot water in the shower
