Service hôtelier parfait, accueil sympathique et professionnel, chambre nettoyée chaque jour, top!
Petits détails : la hotte d'aspiration était un peu cassée et il manque quelques éléments de base pour la cuisine : sel, poivre, huile, vinaigre.
La porte de la salle de bain (et/ou la grille entre le lit et l'espace salon) vibre avec les mouvements des voisins du dessus. On n'entend pas de bruit, mais juste quelques vibrations.
Wtf with a cancellation policy?
Yes, I have booked room without a refund if I cancel it, but then there is an Option to ASK PROPERTY if they can make exceptions. Once you add this function – how do you decide if person deserves for refund or no?)
Like I made a reservation and canceled it I think in less than 10 minutes, and are you gonna make 30€ by that way?)

I never expose it.
When you talk with the receptionists, you feel that most of them lack empathy. They come across like trained actors playing a role — all camouflage and empty words. It’s like the police and their “protocols.”
I believe that kind of energy (or vibe) can unconsciously drain customers. They feel like a well-cooked chicken wing without any seasoning. That’s exactly what I felt from the first interaction.
But there’s a solid soul there who makes sure that everything and everyone feels like home. When you talk with him, it just feels like you’ve known him from a past life. That’s the type of energy we’re deeply looking for.
Very spacious room with nice bed. And very kind, they left earplugs in the room because of the construction works going on around the hotel. But we did not need them because it was nit that bad, but a very nice gesture.
The bathroom can be slippery after showering. Be careful
Die Zimmerausstattung fand ich sehr gut und auch die grossen Fenster und die einladende Sitzbank vorne dran. Die Zimmer sind gut organisiert.
In unmittelbarer Nähe befindet sich ein Aldi oder Lidl, und auch das Brauhaus De Koninck ist gerade daneben.
Es hat ein Fitness - zwar klein - aber 2 Hometrainer, ein Rudergerät, einen Stepper und kleine Hanteln waren ausreichend - ich war noch nie in einem Hostel mit Fitness :)
Auch der Eingangsbereich war einladend zum Arbeiten oder Verweilen - und es ist nocht selvstverständlich, dass es dauerhaft gratis Kaffee und Tee gibt! Mega Service!
Viertel: Alleine als Frau in der Umgebung herum zu laufen war mir nicht so angenehm. Nichts desto trotz ist das kein Grund, YUST nicht zu besuchen, denn es ist sehr modern eingerichtet, das Personal freundlich usw...
The room was clean and well-decorated. The bed was comfortable. The storage space was large and had a lock. There was free coffee and hot water at the reception. And the shared kitchen was so big. Super convenient! This is probably the best hostel I have ever stayed in.
There were also stores around just across the road. Easy to get everything you need.
Both train stations were within walking distance and quite near the tram station.

Absolutely stunning common spaces. Very comfortable and good-looking design furniture available for reading and getting work done, too - as a matter of fact, when I arrived there was a lovely silent book club ongoing, with quiet and laid-back vibes. Free good quality coffee and tea are wonderful touches. Staff were consistently friendly and helpful and attentive without being in any way pushy. Bunks in the hostel section have curtains, individual lighting, and sockets to charge your devices. I appreciated the disposable ear plugs provided with the bedlinen. Dorm and dorm restroom was clean. Filtered water is provided in at least two spots, near the coffee machines and in the upstairs corridor. Luggage lockers are closed and opened with key cards, something I had not seen before but seems like a cool little piece of tech. Overall: likely the best budget hostel I've ever stayed at.
Just one thing, really: I happened to find a half-undressed human in my bunk when I came to the room with the intention to sleep. This person was mistakenly under the impression my bed was really his. Judging by the notifications all around the place that recommend sleeping in one's own assigned bed, such misconceptions appear to take place on the regular. His confusion was understandable, though, because bed numbers are rather small and in spots where they are easily obscured by jackets or towels. A solution might be to make the numbers far larger and put them in more conspicuous locations, such as on the bunk's inside wall, where they cannot easily be missed.
