Great experience with Angeline. Her patience and assistance helped make my booking process go smooth for all our 31 guests. I've booked with Hilton before and was a bit hesitant because of the experience I had before with someone else. However, that wasn't the case with Angeline. Thank you so much!

We had an amazing and smooth experiencing hosing our weekend event at the Hilton Orrington in Evanston. The staff was super helpful and present the entire weekend, even late into the night. The staff was friendly and went beyond what was required to make our stay enjoyable. The location was very close to many great restaurants with a wide variety of types of cuisine and the hotel handed us a nicely assembled list to help us find our way. It’s a 15 minute walk to Bienen school of music at Northwestern U and had practice space available for his audition prep. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant where I was able to make a special order from the menu and the food was very tasty. No espresso machine, but they pointed us in the direction of the Contivo Coffee directly across the street and we were allowed to bring our lattes into the restaurant. Comfy cozy room, clean and fresh. Highly recommend.

I am a corporate travel Manager, so I have stayed many different hotels. I stayed at and had my travelers stay here, I also recently had a group of 45 stay here and received wonderful comments. Some highlights were: The rooms are great and recently renovated, comfortable beds. Rooms vary in size, but all are renovated. The breakfast was great; the bar area was a nice place to wind down at night. Everything is close in the neighborhood, places to eat, coffee, little local stores. Close to the lake for a nice walk Lobby is renovated as well. I was very fortunate to have a great Sales Manager that I must add here Abby Schaubel was a dream to work with. I am very comfortable recommending this hotel for fun and business

First rate experience. Our valets, Steve and Riad were excellent. I would highly recommend this location. Close to beautiful Lake Michigan.

We stay at this hotel frequently and always Valet our cars with Steve and Riad. There is never a worry and service is always top notch.

Both Steve an Raid were fantastic. The hotel was great as well. We have a wonderful weekend.

Steve and Riad are the best valets! They were always ready to help us with anything. We had a lot of deliveries come in while we were there and they were always willing to help us load up!

We recently organized and hosted a large western themed event at the Hilton Orrington Hotel in Evanston for over 300 guests, and the experience was outstanding from beginning to end.

The banquet team exceeded our expectations, ensuring everything ran smoothly. We collaborated closely with Maureen Schoenbauer, the Senior Catering Sales Manager, who expertly guided us through the planning process, food selections, and additional enhancements that made the event truly special.

Our banquet manager, Tony, along with the setup houseman, Stephen, and the valet attendant, Raed, were all exceptional in their roles. Despite a sudden influx of arrivals all at once, they managed the crowd with professionalism and ease. Cleanup was handled efficiently, allowing our team to wrap up without any hassle.

For anyone planning a large event and/or considering an overnight stay, the Hilton Orrington in downtown Evanston is an ideal choice. I highly recommend it!

Sophia works the front desk and makes you feel at home. While I was having a pleasant conversation with Sophia about my visit another guest came along to the front desk and said hello Sophia how are you today.

I was here for the game at the Northwestern and the location is pretty strategic.
Danny at the front desk was really helpful explaining about the area.

I am in Evanston about four times a month and I always choose this hotel. I have developed a relationship with all of the staff such that they greet me warmly and enthusiastically every time they see me. Several times they even have come out onto the sidewalk to say hello. Any time I need something, they are ON IT. In particular, Vanessa, Alexis, Olayemi, Yanisa and Ramdani always take great care of me.

If you are staying to visit the Northwestern campus, there is no better location. It is the closest you can possibly be to the campus, walking distance to everything. It is also on the edge of downtown Evanston and close to many coffee shops and great restaurants. The staff is lovely, helpful, friendly and kind. Vanessa at the front desk made my stay feel like home in so many ways. I have stayed many times and always enjoyed it. The entire hotel recently underwent a renovation, which it desperately needed, and they did a good job with most of the most important things- the beds and linens are nice, the bathrooms have good amenities, though some are very small, the rooms are comfortable, the lobby is a great place to sit, and there are games and couches too. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because they skimped on the window coverings in the renovation and they let in tons of light, at night and in the morning. For me personally, I hate this at a hotel! But I just bring a sleep mask, and it’s fine. I also didn’t give it 5 stars because some weekends the price is egregious for what it is. I understand it bc campus is so close and certain weekends are crowded, but when the crowds are absent, the price is very reasonable. I just wish it was priced competitively all the time. It’s hard to be forced to pay 4x as much because the university has something going on.

Steve is incredibly personable and a true professional. I am a regular at the hotel and I plan on returning to the hotel because of the great staff.

Northwestern Chemistry hosted a dinner in the Heritage Ballroom last fall. Maureen coordinated details well and the staff the night of were wonderful to all our guests. We will be using this location again.
