Closed to the beach.. washing machine available… public bus to get to airport right in front of the door..
Little bit tired but clean.. sometimes Internet was not working properly the staff was happy to help
Stayed for a week to attend a work conference. I won't give it an excellent because of the check in process. We arrived early - about 9.30am, and asked about an early check in. We were all a bit tired after 12hrs of combined domestic and international travel to get to Honolulu. We were informed that to check in early it would be US$80 per person and we would still need to wait until 12pm. We didn't think it was worth paying US$80 for three hours difference. So we ended up going for a walk and then sitting waiting around in the reception for the next few hours until 3pm. Apart from that experience, the hotel met our needs. There is a guest laundry, gym, and swimming pool. The nearest beach is just under ten minutes of walking. The staff are lovely and helpful. Plenty of food options just around the corner. Close to bus stop. Car parking at the hotel is a bit tight if you have an SUV. Housekeeping deserves a medal because my room was spotless! Even the area in the bathroom under the vanity had no dust and hair that I sometimes see there.
The manager, Larry, was amazing and extremely helpful in assisting us with our room. I would not recommend booking this hotel through Booking.com. Although we had fully paid, we arrived to find there was no reservation because Booking.com had not confirmed the booking with the hotel. I want to be very clear that this issue was caused by Booking.com, not the Ramada itself.
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful overall, especially Larry, who went above and beyond to resolve the situation.
The location was good and not too far from the action (about a 10-minute walk to the main strip of Waikiki). It’s directly across the road from Hilton Hawaiian Village, where you can purchase day passes through ResortPass if you’d like to use their facilities. We also used Uber at night when we didn’t feel like walking, and rides were usually around $5 or less to the main part of Waikiki.
I had read other reviews mentioning the pool was small, but I personally didn’t find it to be an issue.

Very pleased with our stay here. No restaurant and no breakfast, but there are cafes and stores within one block. Close to the beach; pleasant staff, clean and quiet rooms, great location. Reasonably priced and no resort fee. Will stay again!
Pool was nice, staff was very nice and professional, rooms were pretty clean, quiet and just a 5 minute walk to the water.
Bathrooms weren't clean 100%. Hair and sand/dust was around the toilet.
Most importantly location between Waikiki and Ala Moana being a transit center for our 'The Bus' exploration and having a Bus W stop.
Some of the carpets and floor coverings etc could be fixed up a bit but they were clean.

The hotel itself looks tired—especially the bathroom, which could use an upgrade. The air conditioner was also very loud.
Parking was another downside. Parking costs extra, there are very few spaces, and we had to use overflow parking (the spots there were so small that we could barely fit our car)

Very good hotel for those not needing to many frills and being in an exceptional location. Kahanamoku Beach and Waikiki Beach are in walking distance, and even better, a bridge that leads over to the Ala Moana area. I liked the pricing of this hotel plus the location.
