Good choice for a fuss free stay
Pros:

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Self checkin was good. Free breakfast was plentiful. Staff friendly and helpful. Good value for money

There is no staff present, it’s self check in.
Pros:

It was nice and clean, appreciated the under ground parking.

Cons:

This self check in and zero staff present is really unappreciated when you’re coming in from another country and have questions about the area, how to get to x and y,
Where to park of the underground parking is full, etc.
knowing this, I would not recommend the hotel.

Gut gelegenes Hotel, Self Check in problemlos. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe, Bushaltestelle ins Zentrum gleich gegenüber. Wir hatten das Glück, jedesmal einen Parkplatz in der TG zu ergattern - sehr praktisch.
Das Zimmer "Sofa" war schön eingerichtet, sogar mit Kühlschrank, bequeme Betten, alles sauber.
Sehr leckeres Frühstück, am Buffet ging es ziemlich wuselig zu, Personal sehr freundlich.

Sehr nettes Personal, Zimmer sauber aber zur Straßenseite hin sehr laut, kaum Schlaf möglich
Pros:

Die Lage war o.k. für Ausflüge. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend, es ist alles da, was man braucht und wird auch immer nachgefüllt. Außerhalb der Zeit bis Abends wieder jemand vom Personal da war, stand Kaffee und Wasser da. Es gab Abends Suppe, die war o.k., aber etwas sehr teuer, kann man aber mal machen. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, man konnte jederzeit den Raum, wo gefrühstückt wurde auch für das Zusammensitzen nutzen und auch seine eigenen Sachen essen. Also das nette Personal hat alles gemütlich gemacht.

Mir hat nicht gefallen, dass ich schon bei meiner Buchung gefragt habe, ob man berücksichtigen kann, dass das Zimmer nicht zur Straßenseite ist, da aus gesundheitlichen Gründen, das nicht gut ist. Man hat mir dieses eigentlich zugesichert man berücksichtigt dieses beim Zimmer, hatte schon 1 Jahr zuvor gebucht und die Buchung davon abhängig gemacht, weil ich das vorher schon gelesen habe mit dem Lärm. Dann hatten wir ein Zimmer, 2. Etage direkt neben der Straße, mit Lärm, 3:30 Uhr den einen Tag war die Müllabfuhr da, tja ein anderes Zimmer ging auch nicht mehr, ich war echt entsetzt, habe ich noch nie erlebt, hatte das Gefühl - ich habe erst recht das Lärmzimmer bekommen. Also ich habe mich dann für 5 schlaflose Nächte bedankt und für die Berücksichtigung, die Nachricht hatte ich ja auch noch. Da wir zuvor schon da waren am Anfang unserer Reise und zur anderen Seite die Zimmer hatten, weiß ich dass es auch ruhiger geht, hatte unser Sohn gebucht. Also schön fand ich das nicht, das ist mir nicht gut bekommen. Ich habe jetzt nach dem Urlaub eine Antwort erhalten, dass ich an einer Verlosung von 100 Euro als Entschädigung teilnehmen kann, was ist das? Also für die Durchreise mal 3 Tage mag es gehen, es war echt nur das Personal was es etwas netter gemacht hat. Also Fazit am Anfang zur Tiefgarage hin, konnte man ruhig schlafen, die letzten Tage zur Straße hin, war Katastrophe, da die Fenster nicht Lärmisoliert sind, ständig auch der Bus vor unserem Fenster gehalten hat und alle Touristen ausstiegen, also, dass war für mich echt schrecklich, kein richtigen Schlaf nach einem Ausflug zu haben.

Tolles Erlebnis in Reykjavik und Umgebung!
Pros:

Lage nicht ganz zentral aber perfekt für die Fahrt in die Altstadt von Reykjavik mit öffentlichem Verkehrsmittel oder Auto (maximal 10min.). Frühstück mit viel Angebot und alles immer sofort nachgefüllt. Sehr sauber und immer Platz in der Tiefgarage!

Alles in Ordnung! Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sind stimmig!

I wasn’t informed on a change of room, so after a long day travel I could not enter my room, it took 3 attempts on the phone just to learn that they had changed my room without informing me. The price of almost 500 euros for one night in such a simple hotel/basic facility is FAR too expensive.
