Be prepared to fight for space on the airport shuttle
Pros:

It was close to the airport. The rooms are not clean and they are not nice. The beds in particular were old, uncomfortable, and smelled of mildew. So did the carpeting.

Cons:

The hotel is grimy, and it is also used as an offsite park and ride situation for those traveling to MIA. This can make it hard for hotel guests to avail of the airport shuttle, which they are very cautious to tell you is ‘first come, first served’. For us, this meant that at 5am we were competing for space with 8 other hotel guests PLUS a family of seven and another family of 5 who had just driven in and parked their cars. The shuttle was not able to accommodate everyone and all this luggage, so essentially, hotel guest had to really defend their space to these latecomers. It was pretty lame.

It was pleasant, comfortable but could have been more personable.
Pros:

Clean and very spacious.

Cons:

The cleaning staff didn’t interact.
Felt a little impersonal.
The breakfast staff rarely acknowledged us, except for 1 elderly man that went above and beyond.
So I thank him.

Disappointing
Pros:

Large rooms

Cons:

Shuttle failed to stop to collect us from the airport - just drove past after we waited almost half an hour . Had to pay for a taxi .
Bar closed by 10.00 pm - poor .

Unreturned security payment
Pros:

The hotel, as hotel is fine. However, when you check in, even though you may have paid already through a provider like Hotels.com, they insist of taking $100 from a Mastercard (or similar). They say its only a security deposit and that it will be credited back to your card after check out. 17 days later and there is no sign of any credit back to my card. I did not trash the room and there was no room service. I have messaged them 3 times but no response. I am loath to call them from the UK as the cost, by the time I get through, might be as much as I eventually get back. (Note on photo 03:10 is GMT)

The room was completely FILTHY! I found 3 cockroaches in my room, asked to be changed, and no one came to help me, not even the manager. Terrible service.

Pros:

Le service du petit déjeuné :
- le personnel très gentil et accueillant
- Un buffet qui propose à la fois des viennoiseries, plusieurs sortes de fromages, du muesli, des jus de fruits frais, du bacon, du jambon....
- proximité de l’aéroport et la navette

Cons:

Concernant le hall d'entrée de l’hôtel lui sentait bon une agréable odeur y été diffusé.

Concernant la chambre aspect lugubre une odeur très désagréable de moisi, la moquette de la chambre paraissait sale et le sol de la salle de bain lui était sale...

Concernant les abord de la piscine le mobilier est très vieillissant les bâches des transats déchirés

Great staff, but the rooms are stuck in the 80s
Pros:

I stayed here for one night due to an unexpected change in my travel plans. The lobby looks modern and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Cons:

The rooms are a completely different story. It felt like stepping onto the set of an 80s horror movie: everything from the light switches to the furniture and the carpet is extremely dated. The room was quite dark, and the bathtub didn't feel very clean, especially with the transparent curtain.
​The dining experience was also disappointing. There was no room service available, and the restaurant closed at 10 PM, which is strange for an airport hotel. We had quesadillas and mojitos—the food was good, but the price was steep ($100 for two people).
