Beautiful Hotel
Pros:

No words to describe the kindness and attention of Nick Browning. He exceeded all of our expectations and requests. Nick really made a difference during our stay at Colonnade. The hotel is beautiful ,extremely clean and vibrant. I also would like to extend my thank you to Humberto,Alexandra, Maria and Javier. We will definetely be back.

Central location, great service & spacious rooms
Pros:

The first thing that stands out about the hotel aside from the open palatial lobby, is the service. Very friendly, extremely gracious and helpful staff from check-in to housekeeping to dining and check out. Rooms are very clean and spacious and comfortable. Location is very central - on the miracle mile and easy walk to stores, restaurants, and the upscale Merick Park shops. The only area that seemed a little sparse and overlooked is the pool, which could use some upgrades like new chairs and more of them and a more enticing look overall. But since it’s likely not the draw of the hotel (which seems more to cater to the business crowd), it’s understandable why it’s somewhat overlooked. However, there was a nice option to order from QR codes to have food delivered in nice trays. Overall, impressive hotel and good value.

Our favorite spot to stay in Miami.
Pros:

Great place to stay. Amenities are very good and staff is always friendly. Shout out to Humberto, the best concierge. Always greet us with a smile, very professional, helpful, and friendly. Hotel cleanliness is always superb. Plenty of restaurants to choose from, all within walking distance of the hotel.

Great Stay! Humberto from concierge made us feel at home and took amazing care of us!
Pros:

Location is convenient. Right in the middle of everything in Coral Gables. The building itself is historic and distinguished, it feels different than most Miami hotels. — the rooms are large and well appointed — great service and Humberto from concierge is a major plus!!

Wonderful stay in Coral Gables
Pros:

This hotel is truly wonderful. Located in a beautiful, atmospheric building with lots of charm, character and great location in the centre of Coral Gables.
The rooms are very comfortable, the breakfast has good a la cart selections and the pool area is inviting.
But what really sets this place apart and makes it extra special is the people who work there . From the general manager to the front office to the concierge, housekeeping and restaurant servers everywhere was absolutely outstanding.
Shout out to Humberto, kind, warm, friendly, generous, a true gentleman. Nick and Michelle at the desk are always happy to help and Mora and Sheila at the restaurant with kind smiles and happy to provide great service.
This is a hotel that we will definitely be happy to return to when in Coral Gables .

Pros:

Beautiful property in a great location

Cons:

The front desk at check-in was not easy. They first downgraded my room without informing me, and tried to give me room keys to a standard room when I paid for a king oasis room. The front desk staff said she had no idea what I was talking about and had to get the manager who was finally able to grant me the room I paid for. The staff then told me to insert my credit card for “incidentals only”. I later saw on my statement that they double charged my card for the entire room cost again. When I went back to the front desk to inform them that I had already paid the entire balance to Booking.com, they blamed Booking.com for the mistake. They told me they would fix the double charge, but 2 days later I still see it pending on my credit card statement. Not the stress free experience I would have expected.

Good stay for conference
Pros:

Beautiful property with accommodating staff. My room was large with a separate seating area, large windows that opened, and bathroom with shower only. Service was always prompt and cheerful. The hotel interior is beautifully appointed. The surrounding area is gorgeous, with numerous restaurants within walking distance, bookstores, coffee shops, and even a jazz club.

Outstanding Team!
Pros:

I cannot say more wonderful things about the staff at the Colonnade. For one Humberto is quite literally the epitome of excellent customer service. I recently had a Vow Renewal after 7 years of getting married there in 2018. Lourdes was exceptional, her communication was prompt and professional and made the experience of planning an event at the Colonnade a dream. Alvaro and Miguel were so helpful the day of the event and made themselves available for anything I needed. And I cannot forget Orlando, so so nice and helpful!
