Conveniently located to the bike trail across the street that goes to the Colchester causeway.
Walking up to Church street marketplace was a hike up the hill, but that is the only inconvenience.
What an amazing experience! The entire space, decor, vibe, and especially the food was amazing! Moses was our server and he made the absolute best suggestions. My favorite dish was the snowball in hell!! 10/10 recommend to anyone in Burlington!

JANE at the level 3 Lily May’s restaurant made our stay absolutely wonderful. The band on Wednesday night made our evening lively. The hotel was clean, easy to find, AC, cool staff….. You should check it out.

Great staff, great location and lovely hotel overall....and they have a small sauna located outside on the patio overlooking the Lake.
Gabe was fabulous... He was fun, engaging and made great drinks. He. was very knowledgeable about different cocktails and types of liquor. That, and a great sense of humor made for a very fun evening at the Skiff lounge.
We loved Skiff! Gabe was a wonderful bartender and the food was incredible. We will be back!

Room wasn’t well kept and a bit shabby (scuffs, scratches and marks on the door and walls)
No beverages (tea / coffee etc) in the room - we had to go to the beverage station on the floor which was out of service
Coffee at the beverage station was awful

The lobby was very inviting with good vibes. Rooms were sufficient. Sat at the bar at the Original Skiff and had an awesome meal and great service and conversation with the bartender, Chris. All of the staff from the check in to bartender to food runners have been great!
Chris at the bar was super cool, very attentive and couldn't ask for any better service!
I am from out of town so all my Kin from the islands visiting Wednesday night for burgers and live music

We recently hosted our Law School Barristers Ball at Hotel Champlain, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Hosting an event for 275+ guests is no small feat, but the team handled it with professional ease and high energy.
From the initial planning to the final cleanup, here are the stars who made the night a success:
The Planning & Leadership Team
Taylor (Convention Services Manager): Taylor was instrumental in the lead-up to the event. As our point of contact for coordinating the staff, she was incredibly easy to work with and ensured every detail was organized before we even stepped foot in the room.
Joseph (Banquet Captain): Our on-floor Captain did a masterful job. Joseph was a dream to work with on the night of the event. He was incredibly attentive, easy to communicate with, and maintained a fantastic attitude all night long. He ensured the buffet timing was precise, constantly checked in with guests to ensure their needs were met, and kept the staff synchronized and supported.
Food & Beverage Service
Olivia and Mel: These two were responsible for the service and the Poutine Stations. The food was rotated perfectly, ensuring everything stayed fresh and delicious for the duration of the event.
Travis, Jordan, and Lindsay: Our bartenders were absolute rockstars. Managing a thirsty crowd of nearly 300 law students is a tall order, but they kept the lines moving and the guests happy all night.
The Floor Crew
Amir, Jessica, and Brenda: This trio kept the ballroom looking pristine. Tables were constantly cleared without being intrusive, which kept the atmosphere elegant and organized despite the large crowd.
