Location and views
Bathroom appeared to be cheaply renovated…not expected for this type of hotel.
Great location. Beautiful views of the frozen Lake Champlain from our room
With the location of the elevators and the exit to the parking garage, you had to walk through the coffee shop area to get out to your car when leaving. Not really a big deal, but it was a bit of a bottleneck as you were trying to leave
Location was excellent.
Tired. Needs a facelift. Room was dark. Bathroom small. Hallways dirty. Not what I expected for a Hilton. No valet, no doorman or anyone to help with luggage. Wasn’t very welcoming.
This hotel was such a disappointment. Right from the start we had issues as the room was not ready on time. The TripAdvisor page says there’s a pool, but that is incorrect. The pool is permanently closed. The heat in the room was so loud. The staff slipped a note under our door explaining there would be no cleaning services between nights. Went to Lily May’s in the hotel for breakfast and it was $90 for 4 very small breakfasts and 2 coffees. Wouldn’t stay here again. Huge disappointment.
We were unable to travel home from Burlington Vermont to Portland Oregon due to the late January snow storm in much of the Eastern US. Our travel was delayed daily for three days. Raul and Natalie at the front desk were very helpful and supportive as we asked to keep our room for “one more night” multiple times. They felt like family by the time we left. And Jane in the hotel coffee shop was also incredibly kind. She warmed up our coffee and warmed our hearts with her smile.
Being “stranded” is not fun, but we could not have had better care and hospitality.
Beware the extra $29 fee tacked on for a supposed "resort" destination. I have no idea what makes this a resort. It has a big workout room but I don't stay at a hotel to work out. No pool. It used to be much nicer with a big seating area near the bar. That was turned into an overpriced restaurant. My room was nice with a nice view of the lake but the heat was stuck at 73 degrees all night so I couldn't even sleep. What a ripoff. Never again.
Obviously we stayed for the view. We roomed in 743 for a corner unit.
I didn’t like the child handprints of grease smeared on the dresser or the pasta smeared on the floor next to the bed and the pasta finger prints on the lamp shade. Also the safety hazard of the “outdoor sauna” that had not been viewed by an employee in days clearly because the ICE floor was a death trap. Huge liability.
I had a very good overall experience at this hotel. It was my first visit and I was very impressed with the rooms and customer service. I was especially impressed with the delicious food and attentive and knowledgeable service (Moses, my waiter) in the lobby restaurant!
We came for a long weekend to go enjoy the snow, my son and I had a wonderful time. As we arrived at the hotel, we had the warmest welcome with Ousmane, who was really nice. Jane at Lily May's coffee became my son's best friend, she really was the sweetest. And our room had a few minor problems, Raul and Natali got maintenance to fix it asap, and we received the most beautiful veggies/ fruit/ cookie platters. Overall, it was a great experience, and the staff only made things better.
The food is made fresh and is very tasty. Staff Mitch and Jane are both very friendly and welcoming. It makes the stay here extra cozy!
While staying at the hotel, I went to Lily May’s in the mezzanine. Chloe Egan was the sweetest employee yet! I’m so glad she works in customer service as she is a delight. Thank you for the amazing service and experience!
Chloe Egan at Lily May’s was awesome! Very friendly and made great drinks! And we appreciate you are a pet friendly hotel!
the coffee, vibe, and workers were awesome!! my server chloe was super friendly and i’m looking forward to going back!!
The experience overall was excellent. The young ladies at the service desk were not only very confident, but friendly welcoming. I would recommend the Champlain Hilton do anyone
Our lake view room had amazing views of the lake and was clean. Loved not having to drive to a restaurant because there was the Skiff restaurant that included fantastic food! Great service provided by Moses and the manager Gabe were outstanding!
