Some of the front desk employees need to be trained properly
Pros:

I have a bad experience to this facelift, what’s you book is not what you get day will tell you to pay extra just because you are there already but all other things are perfect that the only bad experience I have with this property.

Not the luxury experience I was expecting
Cons:

The shower was clogged and there was water on the floor when we arrived. It wasn’t obvious until we used the shower and it backed up in minutes. Then the hvac wouldn’t switch correctly and the tech had to come fix it. Several times the elevators were very slow, only one or two appeared to be operating despite there being many more available. The front desk staff were not as friendly as I’d expect and valet was understaffed and slow despite calling ahead. The shuttle to and from the Galleria didn’t run late enough for even a reasonable dinner reservation, so we drove ourselves and had to park during peak holiday traffic. For the price and prestige I expected a lot more from this hotel.

My overall stay was wonderful and very pleasurable.
Pros:

I really love the location of the property. It gave me a chance to experience different venues and restaurants in this area.

Cons:

I was waiting on the shuttle from the galleria for over 4 hours and that was unacceptable. I was told that they would come every hour on the hour but was express that they had became extremely busy during that time frame.

My husband and I really enjoyed the stay! Very beautiful and location was perfect

Nice for the price and would stay again in the future
Pros:

The meals were great along with our interactions with all the staff.

Cons:

Disable parking. I am a disabled veteran and sometimes have trouble walking. This is not all the time but having to walk from the parking garage might be a problem when I do have a flare up.

We liked the layout of the room and how spacious it was! The decor was also very charming and quaint. I would definitely stay again.

Cons:

I would like to see a complimentary breakfast offered here. We were actually shocked to find out there wasn't. I believe the rate of the room deserves it.
Still, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the cleanliness.

Pleasant getaway
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent and the service was great. We liked the views from our room also.

Cons:

This is very minor, but the parking garage card reader took several seconds to recognize the key card and open the arm to allow both ingress and egress. This alone wouldn’t keep us from coming back but it was an annoyance every time.
