Lilian, Cielo and Daysi saved this from being a one star review. They provided phenomenal hospitality and service. Poached egg on my avocado toast was prepared perfectly too, really enjoyed breakfast. I hadn’t felt well for two days prior so it was just the right touch to get me back straight. Now why three stars? It’s the facility, the rooms are tired and dated smell, musty and moldy. My first room had an air conditioner that didn’t work. When I showed up, it was already off and so I turned it on and as I mentioned, I wasn’t feeling well, so I went straight to bed. Woke up a couple hours later. It was still as hot as when I first turned it on so I had to move rooms in the middle of the night. My calls down to the front desk went unanswered three times in a row; last time phone left off the hook so I couldn’t call back. Packed all my stuff went downstairs was reassigned a room that was the musty damp smelling one. But it did have a functioning air conditioner. Everywhere you look in the facility wallpaper is bubbling and peeling. If I happen to stay here again, it will solely be because the food was phenomenal and the service in the restaurant was great.

We had booked 2 nights (Fri & Sat) as we were arriving from an international flight in Sat at 6am. We arrived to learn that our entire booking had been CANCELLED, leaving us scramble find a hotel when everything was booked due to a marathon in town.
Then we get home and found that Hilton charged us for the first night- that they cancelled, and would not refund us.
NO WHERE in their policy does it say that you must check in by a certain time.
As a long-time Hilton Honors member, it never occurred to me that if I booked thru the app I could be cancelled.
In hindsight, I could have checked in from afar, while I was still in a foreign country, but thought it wasn’t necessary, as I trusted Hilton to hold my reservation.
The fact that BOTH nights were cancelled, and the hotel was then “sold out”, made this extremely aggravating to me.
Hilton “double dipped” and rebooked my room, and then charged me as well. Franchisee’s don’t care if they damage a customer’s long-standing relationship with Hilton.

Ramiro was an absolutely wonderful server. Very attentive and helpful with a huge smile anytime he greeted us. Wish I could give more stars. I was dining alone at first and he made me feel very welcome and comfortable.
The amount of money a room costs here you’d expect the rooms to be updated but instead they & the elevators reek of failed ‘90’s dreams.
The heat in our room didn’t work. It was in the 50’s with temps dropping. Maintenance did come and flip a switch but when I tried to turn the heat down it didn’t seem to work.
The room was large but the accessories were poorly refurbished and outdated. The carpet looked dirty. The shower leaked all over the floor & the sink backed up.
There were no extra sheets or blankets in the room even though it had a pullout couch. I rang the front desk with my cell phone because the room phone didn’t work. They didn’t answer multiple times. I left a voicemail & never received the blankets I requested.
My husband requested late checkout and they said ok but then turned the room card off at noon & gave me a hard time to get back in the room.
The best part of the place is the food. The bar staff acted like they didn’t want ti be there. They did a terrible job of checking in with ppl seated at the bar. I would have ate/drank more but not with poor service.
I’ll stay elsewhere next time I’m in MIA

Food was excellent staff was friendly and efficient. The hotel was overwhelmed with flights being canceled due to weather. But staff was great from check in to check out. The restaurant was packed and service was still great. Our server Lillian did an awesome job!! Thank you Lillian and the rest of staff for a great stay!
We’d had a difficult travel day and the hotel was quite overwhelmed with handling a very large group but the team in the restaurant made everything easier. Lilian, Daysi, and Jorge took care of us like family. Even though they were also busy with the crowd they took the time to treat us kindly and always with a smile. They made what was a very frustrating experience so much better.
Stayed here because on my boyfriend’s business trips! It’s perfectly convenient bu it’s s location close to the airport, but I have to say that the entire staff are amazing! But I have to mention Angelica! The bartender there. Such a warm and amazing personality ! Thank you so much for everything! Great drinks! Great food! Great accommodations!
I want to recommend Ramiro to enjoy a great night, his service was super helpful and friendly, also help us a lot with the hours and how to works the program of the bar and happy hour, congrats to the company to have a wonderful employees like Ramiro.

Hi! I was visiting Miami for work and stay at DoubleTree by Hilton always is a great place to stay in.
After a stressful day work I went to the bar and I had the pleasure to be attended by Angelica. She’s amazing bartender, kind, easygoing and last but not least I had a great suggestion with my drinks. She knows how to pick your poison. 😉
