Clean Room, Nice Lobby, but Breakfast Wasn’t Worth the Price

Overall, our stay was satisfactory. The room was clean, and the hotel lobby was nicely renovated and welcoming. However, there were still noticeable signs of ongoing or incomplete renovations, including damaged walls and visible cracks in some areas.

The biggest disappointment was the breakfast. It was quite expensive for what was offered, and the food was very plain and lacked flavor. Unfortunately, it did not provide good value for the price.

Blessed
Pros:

I stayed at the hotel due to a planned surgery. The room was not what I expected but I have to recognize Maria from maintenance. Wow she made my day. I was in a horrible pain due to my surgery and I was not able to brush my hair. Waiting for the elevator I came across with Maria. She kindly picked up my hair and spoke to me in gentle comforting manner and it just made my day. Hope she gets recognized for her gesture and representing leading with empathy.

Lost my iPad and they mailed it back
Pros:

I travel frequently for work and losing my iPad nearly derailed my trip. The staff here found it and securely packaged it and shipped it back to me. The level of initiative and honesty is rare and I am happy to stay at Hilton again.

Angelica the bartender is the best!
Pros:

Angelica was absolutely amazing! From the moment I sat down, she made me feel welcome with her friendly attitude and outstanding customer service. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent drink recommendations. You can tell she genuinely enjoys taking care of her guests. She made my experience at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Miami even better. If you’re stopping by the bar, definitely ask for Angelica—you won’t be disappointed! Thank you for the great service!

Rock & Roll Fantasy Camp
Pros:

We held an event for 100 people in April, and there are truly no words to express our gratitude to the entire event team, especially Carlos Hurtado, Tania, and Gloria. They were absolutely amazing—professional, attentive, and always willing to help.

Carlos was exceptionally knowledgeable and could not have been more helpful throughout the entire process. Together with Tania and Gloria, they made sure every detail was handled with care and that everyone felt supported and well taken care of.

Their dedication, along with the hard work of the entire events department, played a huge part in the success of our event. We are incredibly grateful for everything they did and cannot recommend their services highly enough.

Frown Turned to Smile
Pros:

Angelica made my stay so so much better! My family vacation was very stressful. When we arrived at the hotel, we encountered other things that added to the stress. But when I came down to the bar and encountered Angelica, she made my day so much brighter. She is one of the most personable and special people I’ve ever met. She literally turned my frown into a smile! I believe that she was there just to make me feel better.
