Best hotel in the Disneyland area! It’s not as close to the park as other hotels, but they offer a shuttle ($7per person per day) and it is MUCH nicer than the hotels within walking distance. They have a full br, restaurant, Starbucks, and a pool.
Beautiful location with lots of amenities. Friendly front desk staff and very clean. Close to the Park with easy transportation via the shuttle.
Rooms were spacious, clean. Beds were extremely comfortable, no outside noise to bother us even though the hotel was pretty full. Easy and convenient to get to Disneyland. Never had to wait long for transportation nor was it overly full.
Had late check out until 2pm for being a loyal member with an upgrade to a suite! Great experience.
Close proximity to the convention
Bed was hard
I typically enjoy staying at Hyatt properties, so I was disappointed with my experience at the Hyatt Regency Orange County. My biggest priority when choosing a hotel is bed comfort, followed by the overall amenities, and unfortunately this stay did not meet expectations for the price.
The room had carpet, which did not appear very clean or in good condition. The bed was quite uncomfortable, which made it difficult to fully enjoy the stay. The bathroom also appeared to have a ceiling repair that was not professionally finished. It looked like a section had been cut out and simply screwed back into place without proper finishing, which took away from the overall appearance of the room.
I was also surprised that complimentary breakfast was not offered. Compared to other Hyatt properties I’ve stayed at — especially the Hyatt in Riverside, which I found very comfortable, modern, and much nicer overall — this location felt dated and less maintained. I especially prefer hotels without carpet, and the Riverside location had a much more comfortable bed and overall experience.
I still like the Hyatt brand overall, but I personally would not choose to stay at the Hyatt Regency Orange County again because comfort is extremely important to me, especially the quality of the bed.
I believe his name was "Steve" at the front desk. But he was very friendly and helpful with my accommodations. He was courteous and efficient. The check-in process was smooth and quick. The hotel was kept very clean and is spacious. I have stayed here before and would definitely stay again. Restaurants and shopping are also conveniently close.
There was a noise in my room all night I could not sleep I even recorded it
Stay away
Absolutely horrible experience even for world of Hyattember
1. poor front desk , customer service messed up my reservation and told I was no show and arrived day late. Upon showing confirmation email from hyatt which made them look bad,, made me wait 45 mins before giving room
2. 2 days after staying suddenly got email saying your checking out a day earlier
Upon calling was told that was my reservation. Long argument led finally to extension of a fully booked hotel. This is despite front desk clearly told of duration of stay. Had to furnish emails to prove myself.
3. Condition of hotel
Shower was clogged and had to take my bath with water clogged, rusted bathroom showers.
4. Old room condition
Only + ve was cleaning person keeps this old facility as much and facility director helped after customer service Staff really gave me a hard time.
Very very poor experience.because this is located near Disney not expecting much changes as facility should be full mostly.
I was truly amazed by the customer service during our stay. I believe her name was Berenice, and I would love to give a special shoutout to her. This was our first time visiting LA, and honestly, we knew nothing about the area or what to expect. She warmly asked about our plans during the trip, and the moment we mentioned Disneyland, she got genuinely excited for us. She immediately started sharing helpful information, recommendations, and even told us about the shuttle bus service, which made everything so much easier for us.
It may seem like a simple gesture, but for us, it meant so much. Her kindness, warm energy, and genuine excitement made our trip feel extra special, memorable, and fun. Moments like this are what people remember long after a vacation ends.
Thank you so much, Berenice, for making our first LA trip such an unforgettable experience!
Did a quick weekend trip to Disney with the family and stayed here. Beautiful hotel. Got upgrade on a room and it was spotless. The employees were so nice and friendly and there was no line when we arrived. You do have to park in the back as I didn't even see an option to unload bags in the front but I may have missed that. Will definitely book again in the future.

Rooms were shorter then expected
The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff were very responsive to questions throughout the stay. We were within walking distance of a few restaurants and shopping.
Loved the rooms, lobby and easy access to Disneyland
This location was fine up until the front desk staff provided my ex boyfriend with my room number and gave him two keys to my room after calling my room and I did not answer. He was not on my reservation. Extreme safety concern. They did say they’d refund my stay. Which I have not received yet. But their overlook and general disregard for my safety ruined my one day trip to Disneyland. I did not even get to enjoy the parks
Or the entire reason for my stay due
To their overlook and untrained staff.
