I was on a weeklong business trip in March-April 2026 and had the opportunity to spend four nights at this Hyatt Regency. Overall, I will say that I very much enjoyed my stay. It's in a great location... close to Disneyland for tourists who are going there.
I arrived on a Monday afternoon. My check-in process went smoothly, and my room (#982) was clean and comfortable. No issues there... slept very well! The noise level was quiet too which was great. Overall, I loved the atmosphere of the hotel, and it has some really nice amenities... a good restaurant/bar, two outdoor pools, one outdoor hot tub, pickleball courts, ping-pong table, and more. It's a really nice place!
I had excellent breakfast each morning at the hotel restaurant... same breakfast each morning which was delicious!
The only negative thing I could say about the hotel is that it's pricey... but then again, it's southern California, so everything is pricey. Overall, I very much enjoyed my stay and would have no qualms about staying there again at some point if I have the opportunity.
We booked this hotel because it was pet friendly and had separate kids quarters. Upon check in we were warmly greeted and suggested to upgrade our room for a reasonable cost. I am very glad we did, we had a 2 bedroom kids suite and the extra space was wonderful. The pet accommodations were great as they provided bowls and pet beds. The room was dated and not remodeled, but it was clean and that is all that mattered. We enjoyed take out from the Vita bar and the Japanese restaurant after our Disney days. The mobile service order for Starbucks made our morning coffee order a breeze. The grounds were beautiful and very easy to take our pups out for walks and potty breaks. While we did not enjoy the pools or other amenities, they were very nice and taken care of. Our kids enjoyed the claw machine arcade and even walked away winners. The shuttle to Disney was very popular for families, but we opted for ride-share services as they were considerably cheaper. Overall, this will definitely be our to go to hotel while visiting the area.
It’s a little far to walk to/from Disney but the hotel does have a paid shuttle ($7 when we went) for all day shuttle access. Great IMO because at the end of the day (20k+ steps) my feet want to rest and not have to walk back to the hotel. Shuttle drops you off right at the door.
The rooms are ok depending on which tower you’re in. We’ve been twice now and stayed in the nice renovated tower once and in the older tower the second time. We prefer the newer one obvs. Had an issue with the plumbing during our last stay and they sent engineering right up to fix it. Breakfast in the Vita Grill is pretty standard. They have a cooked-to-order omelet station and roasted veggies which was a little different from most other breakfast buffets. Overall a nice hotel option for a Disney stay.
Lobby and downstairs stores and restaurants are great. Starbucks, and gift shop has everything you need. Just the rooms are a little banged up. scuffed doors and cabinets that don't close all the way. Older showers, with pull curtains, fluorescent lighting that are slightly old school however, it was comfortable and convenient. They even have a shuttle that goes to Disneyland for about $8 I think. I didnt take the shuttle, but ill probably use it next trip.
Loved the location, the rooms were clean daily , staff was exceptionally friendly, and shuttle bus was a great plus.
This hotel is the perfect place to stay when you are traveling with kids! The Recreational Deck was amazing! My kids played pickleball and basketball for a couple of hours. If the weather permitted, they would have been swimming in the pool! The ease of a Starbucks in the hotel is the perfect touch of "home" while the Mickey Mouse waffles for breakfast are the perfect touch of magic when getting the kids up and running. We had a blast!
It was spacious and comfortable
The room took a while to warm up
Very clean, Disney shuttle available, nice staff
Nothing
My friends were staying here and I came to visit them—Genaro at the front desk was a huge help. Just wanted to give him a shoutout for his great customer service and for helping make the stay a memorable one.
