Old
The property is next to a few government entities, so security is great. It is also not too far from some shopping areas. My room had a balcony. It was nice to get fresh air, but it can be noisy during the day and night.
This is NOT a five star hotel. don’t get fooled by the five stars. It’s not worth more than three stores. Rooms are kind of motel 6 on the road style. Staff were very helpful and friendly but rooms are so old and broken.
They did not have my booking on their system
Comfortable clean safe warm place. Very good service
The property needs a desperate need for renovation. Bathroom is old, everything. The A/C thermostat needs to go, seems to be as old as the building. Breakfast was cold specially the eggs. We arrived at 0610.
The property offers good value, a grand nice hotel in the heart of city, some of the rooms are a bit dated with flooring and bathrooms being old yet clean, an old electric kettle and the hair dryer in the bathroom is quite old and hardly functioning. The lobby is very nice and breakfast buffet is good, staff are friendly and happy to help.
Old
Very bad dont go there
Restaurants, a barber and many accomodations onsite. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The checkout times are an added bonus.
Not good
The staff is very friendly
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, they made us feel right at home, we will definitely will be back and recommend to all our friends!!
Rooms are big and comfortable but it smell bad and the floor is dirty
Advertised free airport shuttle but this did not exist - you can book a hotel taxi for £45. A normal taxi or Uber is about £20 or a bus from the bus station (a short taxi journey away) is £2.
Smoking is allowed in the corridors and bars, so even if you are not a smoker your room smells of smoke, which is a shock to British travellers who are used to smoke-free environments. The rooms are a little dated and shabby but the swimming pool and roof top bar is nice - though this was pay-to-enter on some nights we stayed there. Breakfast was nice.
30 minute walk to Amman town centre or a £3 taxi ride - hotel taxi charged us £25.
Need total new renovation.
Trop vieux, odeur de fumee et d’essence, roof top et piscine pas du tout comme les photos.
I love the rooftop pool which was the main reason I booked this hotel. It is clean and has a beautiful view over the city. However, it closes at 6pm.
Really good customer service experience at check-in from the young lady who checked me in and the bed offered a great sleep.
The hotel however shows its age and the carpet is well worn in the rooms along with very tired furniture.
This hotel would have been a shiny jewel in the crown decades ago and it's a shame that it now is but a mere shadow of a former glorious self.
Also even on the non-smoking floors, guests would be smoking so the smell floats in the corridors and into the room.
Classic decor, Xmas tree was awesome! Def recommend
