It was perfect stay in the Hyatt. Superb location in downtown, lot of restaurants and shops close, Chinatown also very close... and very nice staff like Abdel and Yousra.
The location is perfect, and all is within walking distance. The bar and restaurant had great drinks and good food after hours.
The hotel was in a great location. Walkable to most places you’d be visiting Boston for. The staff was amazing! Our rooms were ready early and we were very grateful after traveling. The rooms were really good size and the beds were comfortable. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a great stay in Boston.

Great location in the Theater District. Modern, clean rooms. Friendly, helpful staff at check-in. Avenue One restaurant staff, service and food is very good. What ruined what otherwise would have been an excellent experience was that the Bar closes earlier than advertised and bartender was quite rude.
The hotel was so clean and the staff was very welcoming and friendly! We received a complimentary clam chowder that was actually so good! The noise level was negligible despite the hotel being almost full! The fitness center was clean and for a hotel gym, fairly well stocked with equipment. We did not use the pool, but from what I could see it was also very clean! The location was also great! Boston is a very walkable city as it is, but we walked to Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market, the Public Garden and Boston Common, Newbury Street, and the TD Garden! Highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel’s location is fantastic, with most of the major must-see places within walking distance. The rooms were clean and offered a great view of the city. The rates were also quite affordable, especially compared to other hotels with higher prices. The staff was friendly and accommodating as well!

The Hyatt Regency was clean, reasonably priced and was centrally located within easy walking distance of major attractions. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The food was very good. We were there with family and had all had a great experience. I would highly recommend.

This hotel is perfect for a family. We walked everywhere. The hotel has a pool and the valet has in and out privileges if needed. They were able to provide a microwave and a rollaway in our suite for our stay. Overall friendly staff and accommodated our needs.
The room was a bit tired, and the bed not particularly comfortable.
They also have a strange policy of doing daily “wellness checks.” They say it’s only if you decline housekeeping, but I received housekeeping and security repeatedly knocked on the door until I answered; very startling.
I wouldn’t stay here again.
A 4 star review is very fair. A lot of good things about the hotel, the location, the staff was friendly, the room was clean and the bed comfy. The negatives, too many of the outlets did not work. I had my watch plugged in all night and no charging happened. I use a CPAP machine and the switch on my side of the bed did not work. The second was the price seemed got the quality of the hotel.
This is a very good hotel in most respects and I do recommend it. The location can't be beat, at the intersection of every T Line. The restaurant is better than expected, we had a great dinner there one night and the breakfast buffet has lots of good options. The gym is extensive. The hotel isn't new, but doesn't feel old. My one complaint was construction noise right above our top-floor room on our final mornings. I understand the need for construction or maintenance sometimes, but this was really loud and there was no explanation. At least let us know if that's going to happen.
I’ve stayed here a few times. It’s in the center and walking distance to everywhere we have wanted to go from Symphony Hall to the North End. Right across the street from Citizens Opera House. The rooms have been large, quiet and clean. Everyone has always been very welcoming. The prices have been very reasonable for the great experience.
Outstanding location in the theater district next to China Twon and a short walk from the financial district, Boston Commons, and so many other things to do and see.
Good location. Close to many places You’ll want to visit. Very low water pressure. Also the bed frame cut me because of the sharp edge.
We had two reservations because of our Hyatt award redemption, which Hyatt customer service couldn't combine, but the amazing gentleman at the front desk was able to fix. I was not looking forward to moving rooms. We had a suite at the end of the hall which was quiet, but a walk from the elevators especially since we stayed for 4 nights.
The neighborhood is easy to walk as we made our way to all the tourist sights. We had dinner in Chinatown just a couple blocks away one night. We walked to the Freedom Trail starting point. With Boston Common so close we went a couple of times. The T line was also near by. We had a car for a couple of days and the valet was efficient and friendly. We tried both the buffet and menu breakfast, and enjoyed both options. The highlight of the buffet was the omelet station. The highlight of the menu was the avocado toast.
We look forward to returning.
We stayed here for one week while visiting Boston. The hotel is in a great location with downtown crossing station close by. Macy’s is underneath and primark and other shops outside the hotel. There is a supermarket close by the hotel.
The rooms were comfortable, spacious and cleaned every day. There is a fridge, coffee maker, hairdryer, iron and ironing board in the room. The room had air conditioning or windows that could be opened a small amount if preferred.
There is a gym and swimming pool.
We ate in the restaurant twice, staff were friendly and the clam chowder was nice.
Overall a lovely hotel, the only reason I put 4 stars rather than 5 was due to the access to the hotel. One arrival there are 2 elevators to go up to reception, at this time it was fine as we had our luggage with us but I’m not a fan of elevators and don’t like using them unless I really have to (eg heavy luggage) we checked in and I asked if there were stairs available as I don’t particularly like the elevators, I was told there was the emergency exit stairs that could be used to get to the guest rooms from reception. That was fine and I was happy with that however when coming down the stairs I could only get as far as reception and then I was forced to go in the elevators to
get to the street which I really didn’t want to do. It looked as though the stairs went to the street level but if I opened the doors it felt as though an alarm might be set off therefore I had to head back to reception and get out via elevators. I have stayed in many hotels around the world and including USA and Canada. All had staircases that were accessible using the room key, I’m not sure why it is different here. If you do not like elevators or confined spaces this hotel is best avoided. I asked 3 different members of staff if there was stair access in and out but there didn’t seem to be. Also the fitness area appeared to only be accessible by stairs which i was happy about as i don’t like the elevator but I don’t know how a disabled person would access the gym and pool if they wanted to. Everything about access around the hotel was bizarre to me. There should be options of elevators and stairs for every area.
