Custos Hotel Tverskaya

The receptionist (a man, Sergei, hope he doesn't work there anymore) was exceptionally rude. The "restaurant" is a sad set of dark grey tables and chairs in the reception area. The walls are the same dark grey color which makes for a very depressing ambience. And the one thing one should expect to be fantastic, which is the location, turned out to be a disappointment too, because the entrance to the hotel is so discreet you can't notice it unless you know what it looks like, and when you call the reception to ask them for instructions on how to get there, they never answer. Add to it the fact that the shower had a huge draft and they forgot to give us coffee (which was promised in our reservation) and toilet paper (come on, is it too much to ask?). Overall, a very unpleasant experience.

Bad hotel, don’t recommend

Socken unter dem bett gefunden, fliese ist im Bad defekt. Sonst ist alles super vom personal, Ausstattung und die umgebung.

Останавливались на сутки. Оч удобно расположен, к аэроэкспресу идти 7 минут. В шаговой доступности места питания. Соседняя дверь макдак. Номера маленькие, но удобные. Есть халаты, тапки, мыло и пр. Кондиционер работает оч хорошо. Есть минихолодильник, чайник. Для командировки лучше не придумаешь.

Room was too small, ceiling had changing height as it was on the last floor. Soundproofing in the room was bad I could hear my neighbors everywhere.

Nice small hotel in downtown of Moscow. A lot of dining options in walking distance, public transportation and attractions.

Идеальное месторасположение, минута до метро.
Уютные комнаты, свежий интерьер, чисто, вежливый персонал.
Из минусов: неудобная подушка, немного шумно из-за оживленной улицы.

역 근처라 매우 좋아요. 근처 한국 식당도 있고, 다만 소음은 조금 있어요

Close to metro and train station. Not far from center

일단 교통이 가깝게 위치해 있고 편의점이나 식당도 많다. 초행길이면 이 숙소가 무난할 듯 합니다. 공항에서 이동하기도 편하고 시내이동 하기도 편함

Property is in an excellent location. Got off Aeroexpress and walked about 5 minutes (due to snow, could have gotten there faster probably without snow) to the property. It's less than 5 minutes (depending on traffic walking lights) to the brown/green lines on the metro as well! It is located in between a McDonald's and Starbucks for those who enjoy those things and a decent Chinese restaurant is also nearby along with several other eating places! :)

Rooms are fairly soundproof and thick curtains for those who are sensitive to light and sounds when trying to get to sleep!

Asked for two twin beds on booking but got a double bed so that was disappointing...also shower is designed so too much water buildup will end up leaking on the floor (no bathtub to keep it in) but using towels to clean it up solved that problem. No places to hang towels though (even hand towels) so that was a little inconvenient, but those are all minor things if you're only staying for a couple nights! Internet worked well and everything was clean though so more positive things there!

Overall, it's worth the money for the location alone, but great curtains and walls were additional plusses that make this hotel worth staying at again! Will be recommending it to those needing a place to stay while in Moscow!

The rooms are spacious and clean.When u wake up in the morning , u should definitely book a room with a view of the city to enjoy coffee.We were satisfied with the variety of breakfast and the quality of service.

Back to Moscow for business :)

Супер отель! Расположен очень удобно и близко к станции Белорусская, в номре есть все необходимое. Персонал вежливый, отывчивый и очень приятный. Сервис достойный!

Très bon petit déjeuner. Chambre propre et confortable, wifi fonctionnant bien. Par contre les chambres donnent sur une place hyper bruyante même avec boulquies et masque c'est difficile de dormir

Great for resting before taking a morning flight from SVO.

Hi, all.
I spent a week in this hotel. It is new, and accessible from publuc transport. So, advertising on site looks attractive.

But there are number of serious flaws.
Breakfast menu does not exist, you will be given same dishes each morning. Foreigners will not have printed menu to choose from. Average waiting time for food is about 20 minutes. There is no special room for Breakfast, it is served in front of reception.
Food quality is good and staff does its best to cover inconveniences of breakfast process organization.

Another point - there was no hot water several mornings.

My room was clean, and housekeping works very well.
WiFi is stable and fast.

I think hotel can be considered for short stay, but it does not prove 4 star rating as advertised.
