We were there for the SEC Tournament, nightlife was good but enjoyed Pete’s dueling piano bar

Too much humidity in room
Pros:

Location was great and lobby area plus having Starbucks. BUT room was so humid! I sweated and not that comfortable. I expected more from doubletree.

Cons:

Room temperature was humid all the time. Weird!

Very disappointed. Not the Hilton we know and love!
Pros:

Fabian at the front desk was very nice and apologetic with everything happening.

Cons:

There was a group of about 900 preteens/teens while we were there. They were loud, disrespectful and unsupervised. They ran the halls, the elevators and pretty much the entire hotel. They couldn't even have the "live music" in the bar/restaurant because you couldn't hear it over all the kids. Terrible experience for what we had to pay for.

Great customer service
Pros:

I was about to give this hotel 4 stars if it wasn’t for Manny at the valet parking! It was a busy morning and he was the only one running back and forth to grab cars. He made sure he got us our car on time. He did not have Venmo so we were not able to tip but he told me to write him a review and that will totally help him out. Next time we stay here we hope manny is our valet again.! Excellent service by that young man

Pros:

People were nice and the location was great!

Cons:

The room smell of urine and only one elevator was working. It took over a half hour to get on the elevator with all our luggage to go check out.

HVAC mildew room odor
Pros:

While hotel staff, valet, front desk were very nice. Upon arriving at our room, 632, it smelled strongly of mildew. Turned the HVAC down to 65 to stop it from running. The hotel was sold out so we could not change rooms. Called down and had maintenance come a spray deodorizer all around room. The next morning when turning on the HVAC smell returned. Glad we were staying only one night. Breakfast was good, service fairly slow and in no hurry.

Nice, fun, clean, good food, friendly staff.
Pros:

I was double booked. We tried to cancel the 3rd party reservation. My emails are declined. Not happy with the booking service and will share this with others until my account is credited.

Cons:

Cancellation of the overbooked charges.
