Austria Trend Hotel Europa Wien

The hotel is ideal to shops and restaurants in the inner ring. This was our 4th stay over the past 15 years. The hotel has undergone renovations that degrade its desirability. Beds are low and feel like sleeping on the floor. The room was too hot so we had to keep windows open. TV was cheap, not Smart, small and lacked ability to use Firestick or to Cast to with phone or tablet, so only had 2 TV stations in English. The decor on the walls and doors throughout hotel were ghastly, like someome threw black paint at the wall. The hotel only offers breakfast (no longer offers the Executive Lounge for morning coffee and pastries) and has a small limited spaced bar. By far the worst of 6 hotels we stayed in Europe over a months time period.

This hotel has an excellent location, central and convenient. The breakfast had lots of options including hot food, yogurt, seeds, nuts, fruit, and pastries. There were food labels on for allergens. They provide gluten free bread if you ask. It is a budget hotel therefore you get what you pay for but cannot complain about the room or bathroom. There was enough space and it was as expected. It’s not luxury but it is a super central hotel and that’s the selling point. Unfortunately, the hotel reception did have a bad smell most days which smelt like sewage. Other guests remarked upon it too.

I loved this Hotel so near everything perfect location right next to the cathedral where there was a stunning xmas market plenty if shops .very clean beds were lovely big specious room for myself tea coffee shower gel safe too .

Location was bit further out than we first thought.but it was only a 25 min walk to city centre which took us through the market.Only down side is the amount of construction work going on right outside.Hotel was extremely busy with school kids although they were no trouble.Rooms were of good size just don't like sliding glass for a bathroom door.Breakfast had good choice.

Fantastic hotel perfect location for easy access to StephansPlatz and Hofburg Paiace. Underground 4 minute walk away to access all main attractions. We had a recently renovated room on 7th floor ideal for what we needed free safe and lovely bath. Air conditioning a little hit and miss but room was always warm. Definitely recommend.

The hotel staff were amazing they even upgraded us to help accommodate an early check-in. The bar, location, and overall experience were perfect. The only reason I’m giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is that the hotel felt a bit dated in its finishes.

Loved this place, excellent service super quite very comfortable everything was super handy .. beds were very comfortable. If I was picky bathroom is pretty small .. but all good 😇. Would definitely stay again.

We chose this hotel for the location and if we were to base the review on this alone it would easily be a 5. The staff are very nice and helpful. The room itself was quite dated with below average temperature control considering the price paid. Breakfast is significantly overpriced for what is provided.
We were OK but if you do happened to have any mobility issues, do not get a regular room as shower access could be a significant safety concern for some with no hand hold and awkward step required.

Beautiful hotel located in a central location. Close to major attractions, shops and restaurants. Staff is helpful and friendly. We were assisted from beginning to end. The room is clean and bed is comfortable. A few steps of stairs going to the elevators can be a bit tough when you have heavy luggages but tolerable. You can ask the reception to assist for this small issue. Breakfast buffet is perfect with many selections - love the standby cook who will prep eggs however you like! I highly recommend this hotel when in Vienna!

Very nice toom with upgrade offered for small fee. Close to shops and restaurants. Note, if you want to save on changing towels in rooms. Please provide enough hanging bars or hooks to dry towels.

This is the best hotel, a good location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable. I will stay there again.

Austria Trend Hotel Europa Wien was the perfect base for exploring Vienna. The location couldn’t be better—you can walk to most of the city’s must-see sights, making it super easy to get around. Our room was clean, cozy, and just what we needed after a full day of sightseeing. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a comfortable hotel in a fantastic spot, I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The hotel is centrally located and easy to get to via subway. Staff was ok but lacked local knowledge. Hotel is a little dated and biggest concern was the towel quality. 1st time in Austria so not sure if this is typical but extremely thin and rough. Lastly, the bathtub height is dangerous and easy to slip even for a young person.
