Piekny widok z tarasu restauracji!!
Mnie brakowało małego czajnika elektrycznego na wrzątek. Woda z urządzenia do kawy była dla mnie za zimna na herbate
We had a very enjoyable four-night stay at the Academias Hotel in September 2025. This hotel has a great location and very good staff who do a great job taking care of the guests. We had a positive experience working with the concierge in advance of our stay to organize a transfer from the airport and a wine tasting and sightseeing trip outside of the city with A-Muse and very friendly and knowledgeable guide Spyros.
We very much enjoyed the on-site food and beverage options. The Plato Lounge was a great place for a cocktail or small meal. The rooftop Japanese restaurant boasts great views and excellent food. And most of all we thought the breakfast offering was spectacular with lots of variety, very fresh food, and good service.
Our room was small but comfortable. Housekeeping service was excellent and our room was well attended to throughout our stay. The shower was excellent and bed extremely comfortable.
We would seek out opportunities to return to the Academias Hotel in the future and would highly recommend to anybody visiting Athens.
Fabulous hotel and close to everything! The spa and rooftop restaurant were spectacular and the views from top were magnificent!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My stay at this hotel in Athens was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond—always warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. Their recommendations for exploring the city added so much value to my trip, and every interaction felt genuine and welcoming.
The room itself was spotless, with meticulous attention to cleanliness that immediately put me at ease. I stayed in one of the suites, and it was truly luxurious—spacious, elegantly designed, and complete with thoughtful amenities that made it feel like a home away from home.
Dining was another highlight. The rooftop bar and restaurant offered not only delicious food and drinks but also one of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever experienced. Watching the Acropolis light up at night while enjoying a perfectly prepared meal was unforgettable—a true “bucket list” moment.
I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. Whether you’re visiting Athens for the first time or returning, this is the perfect place to stay for comfort, luxury, and world-class hospitality. The only disappointment is that is slightly away from the shopping district.
The staff at Academias were so kind and accommodating. The room was well appointed, very clean and quiet. Amazing rooftop bar with views of the Acropolis.
We stayed at the Academias for three nights in Athens in late August 2025, and it is a fantastic property. Its location is certainly one of its best features--it only took us 25 minutes or so to walk to the Acropolis, you can get to Plaka and Monastiraki within minutes on foot, and the rooftop lounge has a view of the Pantheon and Lycabettus Hill that has to be seen to be believed. The rooms are reasonably spacious for the city, well appointed, and impeccably clean. The staff was friendly, helpful, and always had a quick answer to any question.
One of the things I loved most about this hotel was the lobby atmosphere. I brought my journal and paper to write, and the inspiring quotes from Socrates, the books, and the general upbeat feel of the place is unique and incredibly inviting for those who love to write or just think. Even if this doesn't describe you, you'll find it such a breath of fresh air from the usual.
The gym is not overly large in terms of space, but they had nice, modern, clean equipment and I was able to get a couple of great runs in on the treadmill. The indoor pool was a beautiful touch, and the spa staff were great! The rooftop does get very crowded and busy in the evenings, but it's still worth it to go check it out.
The housekeeping staff was so friendly and always had some unique little touches every night, making it a memorable experience every time we came back from being out in the city.
If we get back to Athens any time soon (and I certainly hope we do), this will be at the top of our list for a repeat stay. It's not the cheapest option, but you absolutely get what you pay for here and it is head and shoulders above most options I've seen in one of the world's great cities.
Wishing everyone well back at the Academias and looking forward to our return!
The hotel team very professional and helpful, thanks to all of them. Made our stay very enjoyable
Spent two nights here. A quick review:
- Staff: excellent. They helped us, took care of us, service was very good.
- Food: breakfast was excellent. They also made a special chicken for our kids for room service. Amazing.
- Location: five mins walk to the shop, and 10
Mins taxi to the Acropolis. Wish there was more going on
- Room: Super nice. We got the king suite and it was beautiful. Bathroom was amazing and big. Two showers and a bath tub. Sleeps three easily.
The Hotel is modern and staff is attentive
This hotel is a great option in Athens. It is very well located in Kolonaki and a short walk to everything in Plaka. The rooms are nice (clean, big bathrooms, modern conveniences) and the staff is very nice. But what makes this place so fantastic is its roof bar/restaurant. We only went there for drinks (food is japanese) but the view is spectacular. Expansive view of the Acropolis AND sunset. Also all ope-air. Everyone raves about the roof at the Hotel Bretagne - I went there, this is much much better. You cannot go wrong at this hotel.
Nice and clean as it says on the Ad.
Beautiful hotel and the staff were amazing. Highly recommend, I would stay here again.
