We stayed for one night while driving through Vermont. Since this was summer, there wasn't much going on, however, most restaurants seemed to be open.
The strength of this property is the staff. Everyone we met were welcoming and helpful. Our room was somewhat small and a little dated although clean and comfortable. The balcony was nice. The property also has a very nice, large hot tub that was nice on a cool afternoon. Breakfast choices were very limited.....the buffet was not available on a Sunday. I suppose there weren't enough guests.
I’ve stayed at the Killington Mountain Lodge a bunch of times and have always really enjoyed it. The staff is super helpful, and the place has a real Vermont charm you can feel as soon as you walk in.
The food is great, especially the breakfast. They also have drinks, snacks, toiletries, and other handy items in case you forgot something. I even liked seeing real half-and-half instead of those little single-serve cups you usually get at hotels.
The pool table is in really good shape and was a lot of fun to use. I also really liked having a balcony—sometimes it’s just nice to step outside, get some fresh air, and take in the rolling green hills of Vermont.
It’s a comfortable, welcoming spot with a lot of Vermont character, and I’m definitely looking forward to staying there again.
The place was amazing! Starting with the staff, Joshua and Shannon were exceptional! Emily at the breakfast bar was amazing. The rooms were clean. The mountain view was beautiful. I can go on and on. Compared to the other hotels we've stayed at in Killington, this will definitely be our place to stay from now on. What a great experience!
The atmosphere was great with very welcoming staff. The rooms were very clean and the hotel itself has great amenities including a pool table, board games, a pretty big jacuzzi, and more. I would definitely recommend staying here, can’t wait to come back.
The location was beautiful in the green mountain state of Vermont on Killington Mountain. The employees were extremely friendly and informative. In the morning they have a cup of coffee waiting for you on the restaurant. Food was delicious and rooms were clean. There were lots of places to walk around inside and outside of the lodge. At night we spent time in the hot tub outside with gorgeous view of the mountains.
The hotel was great, we had a Mountain View room with a balcony that we loved. The staff was very nice, especially our bartender Joelys, who was very nice, very friendly, and very professional. We shall return!
The hotel and staff were amazing! The hotel was in an incredible location and has some amazing views. The hot tub hit the spot after a long day. The atmosphere in the communal areas was perfect and certainly felt like a lodge. Room was a nice size, clean, quiet, and
had nice views as well.
Pool, location, staff
Nothing
Shannon and the team did a great job working with us to create the best experience for our group. They made sure the specific accommodations we needed were made. Many of our group commented that they were happy with their rooms and the meals. The wait staff was professional and personable. Special shout outs to Terri, Wil, and Joanna. We will be back!
Only problem we had was we came during the off season and more than half the nearby restaurants were closed. Also the 3rd floor rooms have skylights so ask for a 2nd floor room if you don’t want to be awake before 6AM. Hotel is nice, breakfast omelette was amazing. 2nd floor hangout area near the pool table is fun.
Proximity to mountain and balcony rooms
Wasn’t there long enough to notice anything
Location with Mountain View, fires going in the fire places, staff friendly, and beautiful room. Just a great place to stay.
Nothing.
The staff were friendly and tried to help. There was a hot tub that was hot, but ran out of towels a couple of days. Car parking was free.
The main issue was there was no hot water and after skiing this is the main thing that you need to warm up. The hotel tried to help, but clearly there were greater issues as we weren't the only room that complained about this. The breakfast was mediocre and after the first 2 days, we decided to eat breakfast elsewhere. Our room wasn't cleaned 2 days on the trot, which with the hot water challenges was really disappointing. Not the usual standard we expected from Hilton and would not recommend
Pet friendly - in room and at breakfast and restaurant. Was the main reason we selected this hotell.
Lovely large outdoor hot tub.
Staff especially pleasant.
Lovely hot breakfast
Was surprised by a daily parking fee of $14 per day that wasn't clearly indicated in the booking rate.
Restaurant had a very limited menu and very long wait for food.
Breakfast did not have decaf coffee on tap.
