Very very overpriced for what you get. Everything is far too expensive. Rooms were comparable with a premier inn. Unless another member of my friend group decides to get married here I don't think I'd be back

Immaculately clean, room was large, bed was massive.
Overall a bit underwhelmed, had requested decaf teabags and more milk to have in our room, lady in the restaurant said she would send someone up, got a call from reception 20mins later to say no teabags available, but someone would bring milk, they never arrived. An hour later tried to call reception but the phone in our room wouldn’t dial to reception, tried calling the hotel from my mobile and no answer either. Very disappointed.
Whilst in the restaurant for dinner our initial staff member made great effort to discuss my husbands dietary requirements with the chief and then to relay that information to us, he then walked off without taking a drinks order, we sat for 10mins at least before anyone came to offer us a drink, and this was only after making eye contact with them standing at the bar.
After we got our drinks and ordered food (soup for starters, one with dietary restrictions and one without) it had still managed to be mixed up (when it eventually arrived 30mins after ordering).
Now I’m being picky but I didn’t like the chairs in the restaurant, the way the sides of the chair curve round left me feeling very awkward, with my elbows either being tucked in tight or having to spread away out to try and eat. Not comfortable for me.
Overall I don’t feel we got value for money at all, £335 for 1 night, £102 for dinner for 2 people, I wouldn’t be rushing back.

Nothing really, came for a wedding at 2pm, and contacted the hotel prior to the date as rooms were available from 3pm. Know it's difficult but as it's a wedding venue, earlier check ins would seem reasonable as the stay was solely for wedding attendance

Absolutely beautiful estate and lovely hotel. Attended a great wedding. Lovely to walk around the grounds and the staff were helpful. Loved the brownies etc on arrival and the rooms were nice.
Think for £568 for 2 nights, it is surprising you can only have 1 70 min use of the spa. Would say the spa is very small and quite underwhelming compared to others in Ireland for the price you are paying to stay.
Also it was like the nicest days of weather Ireland has ever had while we stayed but the air con turned up to Arctic temperatures made it difficult to enjoy the beautiful days :)
