Location was excellent and the staff were helpful and welcoming.
The room we had on the 3rd floor was next to a service area used by the restaurant and bar this generated quite a bit of noise in the evening. The room did not have a fridge which was a real disappointment especially when there were drinks etc available in the room, even the complimentary water was undrinkable due to the temperature.

Beautiful rooms and fantastic grounds. Service and staff were amazing
Walk in bad weather up to main castle building but that's just being picky and not a major dislike

The menu was very small not much of a selection. Service was very slow for drinks
We had an “upgrade” but it was a standard room with a balcony I wouldn’t consider that an upgrade
The location, hotel, rooms, food served at wedding, service, cleanliness
The breakfast buffet wasn't great, sausages tasted greasy and some items were missing - eggs, potato bread and soda bread, you had to keep returning if you wanted a full cooked breakfast. This is not what I want to do. You could order a breakfast from the menu as well though so if returning I would choose this option.

The setting was gorgeous. Loved the outdoor hot tub. Food was grand, have had better at other hotels
