Pros:

The location was central and convenient.

Cons:

We paid approximately 3,700 NIS for a three-night
stay in November, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing.

The entrance to the hotel is through a busy restaurant, café, and market, with no proper lobby or reception area on the ground floor.

The room was extremely small. The bed is positioned on a raised platform against the wall, making it impossible for the person sleeping on that side to get in or out of bed without climbing over it. Every movement shakes the entire bed, which is incredibly uncomfortable.

There is no wardrobe, which I consider a basic necessity in any hotel room. When I mentioned this to reception, I was told that I should have noticed it in the photos. Frankly, I have never had to specifically check whether a hotel room has a wardrobe before making a reservation.

The sink is located in the middle of the room, with no counter or shelf space for makeup, toiletries, or other personal belongings.

The toilet and shower are also very small and are essentially part of the bedroom, separated only by glass, offering almost no privacy.

The overall design is very urban, trendy, and boutique-style, somewhat reminiscent of a Tel Aviv hotel. It’s nice in theory, but absolutely not worth the price.

However, the worst part of our stay was breakfast.

Breakfast is served in the hotel’s extremely busy restaurant, which is also open to outside guests. The waiting times were simply unacceptable.

I waited over 30 minutes just for a coffee, and when it finally arrived, it wasn’t even what I had ordered. The food was also significantly delayed, meaning I had to spend nearly two hours just to have breakfast at the hotel where I was staying.

There is no buffet; everything must be ordered through the waitstaff.

And despite all the glowing reviews about the food, I honestly didn’t find it particularly impressive.

Awesome!
Pros:

Location is perfect for reaching all of the main attractions in Athens by foot. The food hall on the ground floor has incredible options, all included with the complementary breakfast.

Cons:

We should have requested a larger room. Each room is unique so it is worth exploring the options carefully.

Lovely hotel but shame about the food and service
Pros:

Brilliant location for all the sites in Athens. Unusual layout in the bedroom but works well.
Very good and helpful hotel staff.

Cons:

Glass doors for the separate toilet in our bedroom.
Fire escape hazard on stairs! Every day - we were there 4 nights- the tall laundry cubicles blocked the stairs on every level which would impede people’s descent if the building was on fire.
The restaurant below where we had breakfast is fun and buzzy but the service is absolutely appalling. Every day we waited half an hour for the waiters to take our order and then another half an hour to deliver even an orange juice or a cup of coffee! The choice of breakfast on the menu was extensive but the cooked food was extremely heavy and oily and rich. There was no fresh fruit available at all, only as part of a pancake dish or granola.
