I recently had the pleasure of staying at an adults-only hotel, and I can honestly say it was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely taken care of.
A special shoutout to Dani Boy, the entertainer, whose charisma and energy truly made a difference. He has a natural way of connecting with people and bringing smiles to everyone around him — you can tell he genuinely loves what he does.
I was also very impressed by the housekeeping team and the housekeeping manager. Everything was always spotless, fresh, and perfectly maintained, which made my stay even more comfortable.
The culinary experience was just as amazing. The chefs did a fantastic job, and every restaurant I tried offered delicious, high-quality meals. The waiters and bartenders were equally outstanding — always attentive, friendly, and ready to make sure you had everything you needed without even having to ask.
Overall, I felt welcomed, relaxed, and trul
Ok, just ok, food and drinks were inconsistent, service was great, did not get any stomach issues as i do most of time in Mexico, room was ok and comfortable bit hadcto asf for fan cause ac sucked
The experience was great. Leo was awesome as our butler. Aldo, Gerry, George, Albert, Mike, Ivan and Diego make the trip great and seeing all of them is what makes Temptation the best. They treat you like family
Wow this place use to be our go to twice a year April & October and started back in 2015 but this place was slowly going down hill and just took a nose dive. They got a new CEO that has completely ruined this place. Time to find a new piece of paradise. Would advise others to do the same!!!
Our experience at Temptation Cancun Resort was disappointing. While the facilities are nice, we encountered a serious issue with a $22,500 MXN $1300 dollars, security deposit that has still not been refunded since our stay in November 2025.
The hotel claims it was only a “hold,” but it clearly appears as a charge on the credit card statement, and after several months, the money has not been returned. Customer service has not provided a clear resolution or proper follow-up.
I strongly recommend being cautious with the security deposits requested at check-in, as in our case, the refund was not honored.
Situations like this completely damage trust in the service
Went solo for the 1st time to Temptation. the atmosphere is very european with a livley vibrant vibe. the rooms are clean and neat. the staff is very accomodating to your needs. the drinks are top shelf and the food is varied and eclectic. entertainment is adult and starts at 11:00 am at the sexy pool and ends around 3:00 am at Bash with a break for dinner. The only down side is a tour I took from the resort to see the Cenotes. the Cenotes are a wonderful experience but getting there is not fun! Be prepared for the bumpiest ride of your life; see attached photo! This ride put a crimp in the rest of my stay. To be forwarned is to be forarmed.
We arrived a day late due to airplane cancellation and they would not extend our stay. The resort is very clean. Pool is topless optional and most of the women should not be topless! Shows are really good, almost a strip show with nightly themes. Food is good. Rooms are small and poor lighting. Gloria Cruz is the temptation table police when she walks around telling people to not put their feet on it even though it is the level of a footstool. Lots of people trying to upsell you spa services or time shares. I got engaged on day two and they didn't do anything special which was a disappointment. All in all a decent stay. Ocean had a red flag warning so not an option. No venders on the small beach.
Had a great trip. I can't wait to go back.
The entertainment was well done. The playmaker Edgar ( Mojito) was friendly and fun.
The other playmakers Sam, Brai, Andy, Will, Waldry, Cowboy, Red Bull and Jolie were amazing as well.
The environment Is welcoming and all the people were fun, and the waiters were great.
I am looking forward to returning.
Temptations is my favorite vacation. We have been there over 20 times, it is truly our second home.
You have to be careful if you have issues because they don’t solve them. I feel soured from this one experience and it changed how I view the hotel.
We were at sea flirt for the sunset dinner and were supposed to have sparkling wine included in the package (pic attached showing inclusion). The sommelier came to the table, didn’t discuss anything about which bottles were included in this package and only asked what we wanted, which was something sweet. He told us one, we said okay and at the end they gave us a bill for 5,000 pesos ($280). I was freaking out but didn’t want to cause a fuss. I thought I could talk it out with someone later which turned out to not happen.
I tried to work with my butler on it (asked Tuesday, did not get a response until right before checkout on Thursday after asking for a few updates). They gave me five minutes to get to the lobby to talk to the food and beverage manager which I did not meet. They explained that because the bottle was open and the charge was done, there was nothing they could do on this occasion except when we came back they’d give us a discount or free bottle. I thought it dishonest that sparkling wine was specified to be included and yet because they had charged for it, there was nothing else to do.
I tried to talk to them myself and the front desk did not get me a manager like I thought. They gave me Jorge, the sommelier that sold me the wine, which I didn’t know until way after, but knew it was the same person so thought that was confusing, so there’s another trick.
I am a non confrontational person, so this is a hard thing for me to do. Jorge did not problem solve and had no active listening skills. Instead he told me he would have to pay for the wine himself if I did not pay it and wouldn’t even come to any compromise (which obviously he wouldn’t because he wasn’t even a manager ugh)
I’m mad I even had to talk to him. I was trying to ask if we could compromise since I used less of the benefits that were part of our package (and also since the sparkling wine they gave us wasn’t part of it at least whatever that difference was between that and the value of whatever wine WAS included) but he acted like he didn’t understand what I was saying and only had the same language of “you have to pay”. I got frustrated and paid, obviously his tactic. I felt so unheard and it made me cry.
I was tricked, be careful. Ask at every dinner, every lunch, breakfast etcetera before getting anything if it’s actually included in the packaged dinner or you have to pay for it (unless you want to pay for wine that’s not worth it, let’s be real; it was not the best wine I’ve ever had)
We arrived for an eight night stay to celebrate my birthday. We had read some of the reviews online and on some of the forums that new management was making bad changes. We were a little worried as this was our 20th trip or so since the tower was built.
I’m happy to say that a lot of the concerns are not related to us as we are not premier members. And the changes we did notice, other than some familiar faces not being there and us missing them, were mostly for the positive.
The party is still great if you find the right people and the staff is as attentive as always. Wendy, Carlos, Benjamin, Lili, Mike and Diego have been favorites for years and continue to be excellent. Jesus, Will, Cowboy and some of new playmakers/staff are really stepping up and were fun to be around. Shadia and Ivan were great as always and our first meeting with Arturo was this trip. He went above and beyond and even helped after we left. We will be back in May and will be better at remembering other names!
The buffet food (Israel is the best waiter) and Sea Flirt both seemed better overall versus last year. Room service was fast and the poolside Sushi guy (the one that wears yellow) is an absolute genius!!! I never get the Bash burger guys’s name (been there forever but he is behind bullet proof glass!) but he see us coming and has wings, fries and fried fish ready every night!!
Great stay overall. Still hate that people reserve chairs and never use them (but that’s on those people, not the resort).
Suggestions - Games are still great at the sexy pool but the intros take too long. Also, just leave the beer pong table up all day, put it by the activity board out of the way- it will get used. Keep the lobby bar open longer, maybe 1am. Especially on windy/colder days.
Last thing - you show a nightly theme “costume contest” on line but we did not see that once??
Stayed early march this is another great trip for us and we had heard that with the change in owners it was not the same, but it has a great party vibe, sexy not vulgar, the service is great, the food is good, and you have to bring some good energy and have fun, lots of it!!
The playmakers are the lifeblood of this place and they will make sure you have lots of fun if you are willing to party. We can mention: Dani boy,Wild,Rafa,Cowboy,Red bull,Mojito,Sam,Bride,MAG,Andrea La Diabla,Deli and Day
The rest of the staff is great, never have a bad experience.
Due to a lot of changes at Temptations in Management some people are not happy. However some of the changes for Members are good and some are not the greatest. But what I really like is when you are a repeat member coming back to the resort, the employees do not forget you. That really does keep you coming back.
I would like to mention some of the workers that made our trip memorable:
Arturo - VIP Host. He totally went above and beyond for us. He is a great addition to the team. Very professional and friendly
Staff in Amores - Luis Cupul, Nestor Alvarez, Dulce Dalicia, Isreal, Lucio. All of the servers in the Day and at night are excellent
Premier Bar - Gerry, Adan and boys are great.
Romanza - William, William. Excellent workers
Bellman - Luis. Most of the Bellman are very friendly and welcomed us back
Premier Butlers - Shadia, Nacho, Azulejo. Always keeping in contact with us and always ready to assist us. Very friendly and professional
SeaFlirt - Charley, Isreal, very friendly and professional
Premier office - Norma and Geny. These ladies are so friendly and so willing to help with whatever Members need.
Just got back from Temptation Resort and had an amazing time!
One of the absolute highlights of the trip was Diego at the bar. If you’ve been to Temptation before, you probably already know him — he’s been there for years and truly makes the experience unforgettable. His energy is unmatched, he remembers guests, keeps the party going, and always has a smile on his face. On top of that, his drinks are consistently perfect. Whether you’re at the pool or Bash, he brings such a fun, welcoming vibe that really elevates the whole resort experience.
The overall atmosphere at Temptation is exactly what you go for — fun, social, and high energy. Between the music, entertainment, and friendly crowd, there’s never a dull moment.
The only real complaint I do have is in the premier sales office Capo has been demoted. Honestly they were trying to sell me things that are already in my contract. I was disappointed to hear from my beneficiary and his significant other that the sales rep trying to sell him a membership stated “this resort is trash, but if you buy a membership you will have access to RCI to go somewhere better” as a long time member that is very disappointing to hear.
Can’t wait to come back — and definitely looking forward to seeing Diego again!

6 WEEKS AGO - Pool vibe was dead due to very COLD WATER.
Temptation needs to wake up! Known for the best pool parties anywhere, it is weirdly off with very cold water in both the Sexy Pool and Floor 7 rooftop pool. When you are a “Pool Centric” resort, it should not be any mystery how to let people enjoy themselves. Nobody is in the water mingling when it is cold water. Nobody wants to participate in the games. The Playmakers are struggling to get people involved. If the water was warm, you would have everyone in the water hanging out and socializing. We were here in December and late January. Same disappointment both times. And we have been Premier members for many years. When we ask around about what has happened, we keep getting the same response. New CEO. Maybe that person needs to get in a cold pool and see how much fun it is. Since the marketing is aimed at the toptional pool party vibe, fix this already.
MARCH, 2026 UPDATE
Pool Vibe is BACK! Water is warm, weather ideal, crowds were back with a familiar feel. The Playmakers did a great job getting the crowd into "IT" and having a good time. The rooftop pool even had nice chill music playing at volume you could actually hear if you needed a break from the Sexy Pool. The evening entertainment was creative with new wardrobes and routines. The dining was the best yet. Thank you Noel and Giovanni and team Romanza. The attitude and perceived moral of the staff was excellent as well. One thing I have always appreciated about this property and both Desire properties, is the staffing levels are never lacking. Every department seems to be staffed well. No waiting for anything. And that is not something we have found at even so-called 5* all-inclusives.
I recently was at Temptation Resort and had an amazing time even though I was having some mobility issues. Please do go if this is an issue with you also!
From the minute I walked into the resort I was given help by putting me in a room that was closer to the sexy pool. The security kept an eye on me to assist in getting in and out of the pool. Yell out to Alejandro and Omar of security, Next Giovani and Digby were fantastic with checking on me daily to make sure I was doing ok. Digby I cant thank you enough for watching for me at Bash every night to set up a chair in a good spot so that I'd have a good view of the show.
As for other staff shout out to Dulce in the Spa who gave me one of the best relaxing massages I've had there.(I'll be back) Lili with the towel service was excellent with making sure I had a close lounger available for me and my friend every day. Thank you Lili! At the Premiere bar all of the staff is excellent. Hats off to Adin as he was super attentive to us! Lastly I would highly recommend our amazing butler Mario. He was checking in and chatting with s everyday. He was personable and we truly enjoyed his ability to get things done! We'll request him every time! Thank Temptation staff for making my vacation the best it could be!
We had probably the best vacation ever at temptations resort! The food, staff and overall vibe of the resort was amazing! All the guests were so laid back and friendly. Only down fall was the weather was a bit cool. Fortunately after 6 weeks we’re are headed back for a “redo”🤣🤣
Temptation has become a money grab over the years. Everything is an extra charge. Timeshare presentation is forced on you. Management is over estimating the value they give clients. And they are overcharging current members. You can buy the members vacation with more benefits on expedia for less than members pay
Staff is still excellent and people are very friendly around the pool. Food is mediocre (at least you don't get sick mostly) Noise from Bash can be heard until 3am, don't plan on getting any sleep.
